You and Ichigo parted ways again, so you decided to go through some of the things that are in the entertainment room you found. While looking through the stuff, you came across a perfect, elegant violin with the bow intact.

"I think I'll be taking this. Maybe I could learn how to play it?" You thought to yourself, picking it up and thinking back to videos you've seen on violin players.

You held it and gave it a stroke with the bow, making distorted sounds which almost made your ears ring. This time, you downloaded a free violin tuner off your phone's app store and started tuning it. When you gave another slower stroke across the strings, it sounded much better, so you started learning to correspond the sounds to your fingers placement when a cramp in your arm caused you to almost drop the instrument.

"This is going to be harder than it looks… then again, I've heard that the violin is the hardest instrument to play…" You muttered to yourself, fixing the cramp and trying again.

This time, you managed to work across all of the strings slowly and clearly. You repeated this a few times, then put it back in the case to take a break.

"I see you've taken a liking to that instrument." Hiro said casually.

"It's a violin. I've always wanted to learn a stringed instrument, but guitar just never worked out for me. I've never really had the money to afford any other stringed instruments, so I never really learned." You replied, turning around to face him.

"That makes sense. I guess some things aren't for everyone." He replied, taking a seat at the piano.

"You're right about that-"

You got cut off by Stacker calling everyone to the briefing room again. Upon arriving, you found that there are twenty pilots in the room, excluding you and Ichigo.

"Good evening! We've officially found signs of life in the UK. You are all to go there and investigate, see if you can gain their trust, and if you can, offer them help and security for the week until we can get resources and materials over there. Watch out for hostiles. I know that some of you still have training to complete, but this is indeed a dire time. If we can't build up enough forces, we will get wiped out. Be warned, they may or may not be hostile. Only fire if you're fired upon. You will be dividing into two squads, Echelon squad, and Fury squad. Stick together until you reach the Isle of Man, from there, I will give you further orders." He said seriously.

With so many questions running through your mind, and no time to answer them, you got into Echelon Hunter and your squad is the first to be deployed. Shortly after dropping into the Atlantic ocean, you quickly got swarmed by Kaiju, and begun to fight them off.
You shot through one of them and into another with your gauss cannon, only for Echelon Hunter and Strelitzia to get pinned to the ocean floor. You headbutted it off of you, and shot the Kaiju off of Strelitzia, then Fury squad arrived and the Kaiju retreated yet again.

"Don't be fooled by that. They did this before and that's part of how I almost died twice." You said to the other squad.

"Is that so? I'm Arya, by the way. The others are Dawn, Trinity, Elizabeth, Hyde, Alex, Derek, and Ryan." She replied. You turned around just in time to see a Kaiju swimming for Arya's Jaeger. You stopped this by firing behind her, taking the head off of the creature.

"I did warn you. It's good to meet you all, but let's save the talk for the Isle of Man unless it's serious." You said seriously, scanning the ink-black ocean for any non-natural movement.

"Copy that." She replied seriously as everyone cautiously walked along the seabed.

"Goro, can you initiate a scan for me?" You asked over your squad's closed comms.
