"Alright class, good morning and please take seats. We will begin the presentations shortly." Professor Adams spoke.I was already taking a seat so I just was waiting for the presentations to start.
Thats until Marisa came rushing towards me."Hey queen!" making sure everyone heard her.
"Good Morning, Risa." I say rolling my eyes because she knows how much I hate making a scene. Or any attention as a matter of fact.
"We are going to 'BarnYard' after the football game this Friday so make sure you wear something extra cute because the new QB is go—"
"Ms. Marisa, so kind of you to volunteer to present first." Mr. Adams spoke.
"But I—okay..." She answered back.I was just trying my hardest not to laugh, I guess karma is on her worst behavior today.
As Risa was presenting we heard the double doors from above the class slam and Mr. Adams quickly turned on the lights and asked who was disturbing his class.
I didn't pay much attention to who Mr. Adams was talking to. I was more concentrated on my wooden pencil tapping against my small wooden desk.I heard a lot of girls giggling in the background which made me roll my eyes instantly.
At this point I was kinda curious on why so many of the girls were staring.
I mean I have a pretty good idea why but still, I turn to see who it was...but as soon as I looked up I was met with Mr. Adams eyes.
"Fuck" I mouthed to myself and maybe to him if he could see that far. I quickly look down avoiding another glance from Mr. Adams. I couldn't see much from the glance I took from the guy that interrupted his class.
"Ms. Munoz, please raise your hand." I heard the professor yell from the front. Please let there be another Munoz in the class...I thought to myself.
I turn around and look both right and left to make sure he's talking to me. Sure enough, he was talking to me. At this point I didn't really want to look at the boy in all black any more. I raise my hand and kept tapping my pencil waiting for him to get to me.
I put my pencil down seconds later.
When I see Risa eyeing him the entire time he was walking over towards my row. Risa is super picky with guys so this has to be a cute guy. I turn to my left looking up he was already next to me.
Let me tell you, when he looked into my eyes I could have sworn I met him light years ago. If possible.
His eyes were a beautiful shade of grey, A grey i've used before to paint a dark sky with angry ocean waves below it.
I noticed his jaw clenched, making his jaw more defined. Snapping me back into reality.
"Hello." I said after our intense eye stare.
"Whats up. I'm Andrew but you can call me Drew." he said with a pretty straight face.
"I'm Selene, but you can call me Sel." I said with the same energy except the way he raised his eyebrow made me give him a small smile.
"Selene." He said, with a smile and I don't know about you guys but my heart was melting.
"Like the goddess of the moon"
I drew my eyes from his and started to zone out into Risa powerpoint.
I heard Risa in the background continuing to present and they turned off the lights. He was still staring at me, I could feel it.
