The Do Over

Chapter 3

I immediately get up and fixed myself. "Are you okay miss?" he asks. I was looking down all the time covering up my face. "Ahmmm.. Yeah, I'm fine," as I brushed myself because my whole body is full of sand.

"Hey, I think I know you," he utter. He's trying to look at me very closely but I kept my distance at him and put my head down so he couldn't see my face.

"Lemme think. Hmmmm.. Wait, Mia? Is that you?" he asks.

Okay, just calm down and answer him back. "Sssorry.. Ahmm, you've got the wrong person." I struggled with words. Ugh!

"No, you're Mia. Don't you remember me? It's me Nate," he come closer to me and tilts up my face and I slowly looked at him. Ohh! He looks so gorgeous. His dark brown eyes gazed at mine and it was the beautiful eyes of a man that I've ever seen. He furrowed his thick eyebrows, I think he's trying to observe my reaction. Wake up Jacque but I didn't wake up! He's saying something but I'm not hearing it, I just stared at him, captivated by his Godly Adonis look. Oh my! And oh, ang tangos ng ilong. I kind of have nose fetishism especially those perfectly pointed one. They're my weakness!

"Jacque, are you okay?" a familiar voice shouted and it's going closer to me. I checked on it, oh shit, its Rob.

"Hey, get your hands off her!" he says to the man whom I bumped into while Rob removes the man hands on my chin. He looked really pissed!

"Hey are you okay?" he asks me again.

"Yep. I'm okay," I answered.

"But your elbow's bleeding. What happened Jacque?" he asks. I looked at my elbow and oh, it's bleeding. I think I hit the sidewalk where we fell which is a cemented floor.

But before I answer Rob, the guy interrupted me - "Wait, your name is Jacque? How come?" he asks. Oh his name was Nate, I remembered.

"Yep. And I'm not Mia!" I hissed and looked at him once more, ohh, damn! He's so gwapo! And then, out of nowhere I remembered my phone. Oh my god! "My phone!"

I run immediately to the Army Navy, and Rob catch up on me. We enter the door and I gasp some air, "Excuse me, have you seen an iphone, right there.." I pointed out the table across the room where we seated.

"Yes Ma'am, naiwan niyo po. Teka kunin ko lang po," the waiter says. Oh thank God no one took it. My whole life was on that phone. All my contacts, pictures, and my clients phone number. Ohh! I feel so relieved.

"Here you go Ma'am," he says.

"Thank you so much!" I answered.

Rob grab my hands and he drag me outside the store, "C'mon. Let's buy some first aid for your wounds."

I stop him, "Ano ka ba! Gasgas lang naman 'toh oh. Malayo sa bituka."

"Eh kung mainfect?" he insist. I took a glimpse at him and he looks really worried.

"Okay, fine! Sabi ko nga eh, gagamutin na," I rolled my eyes and smiled at him. How can I resist my guy best friend? Ugh!

He smiled back, "Good girl!"

He treated my wounds and put on some band-aid. Afterward, we went back to the hotel. We look for them, but they're seem not to be there. We guessed that they're playing volleyball alongside of the hotel. We go look for them and there they go, they're already playing without us. And it looks like they've got some opponent. They're playing with a bunch of guys, five guys I presumed and a girl, and on the opponent side court I see two girls and two guys again but I can't see their face clearly.
