Shimmering Stars (Canceled, being remade)

Chapter 1

It was just like any other day. Sunny was running the school, Moon and Qibli were teaching history, Sunny was off discussing how she could get more mudwings to come to the school without having entire sibling groups with Queen Moorhen, and Fatespeaker was off doing whatever it was she did when she wasn't watching Starflight in the library. Speaking of Starflight, he was just tending to all the scrolls, making sure they were in the right place and whatnot. 

Starflight sighed to himself, he was lonely but the other teachers had jobs to do, Sunny was away, the students either messed with him or were really loud, and Fatespeaker had been really clingy recently, and he didn't feel like putting up with another painting she made for him which he couldn't even see.

He heard talon steps bound in and from the years he had spent listening to talon steps, he knew it was Fatespeaker.

"Hello Fatespeaker..." He mumbled, still sorting scrolls. She could sense he felt lonely so she walked up next to him and nudged him with her arm.

"Come on, cant have you be alone in here." She gave a smile that he couldn't return, even if he had seen it

"I know..." He sighed "I just miss Sunny... I know she's not gone for long but being without her is weird, even if I cant see her I always just... feel like she's there when she is..."

Fatespeaker wrinkled her snout at him "There's plenty of us here in the school to keep you company, like the students, the other teachers... me..." She glanced at him but he just walked over to his desk and flopped over it.

"Yeah... but Sunny is special to me... we grew up together... we've had so many good memories..." "and bad..." He thought, remembering when she said she saw him as a brother, but he shook it off.

"Yeah but... there's plenty of dragons in the world..." Fatespeaker spoke with a slight bit of irritation which went unnoticed by Starflight.

"I'm not sure I want to be in a relationship with her... obviously I still like her... I just want to be around her again... and all of my friends..."

"I'm your friend." Fatespeaker mumbled sounding a bit hurt. "Nevermind... I'll find someone better to keep you company, I suppose." She walked out as Starflight sighed.

"Sunny... please get back soon..."
