Part time job

"I'm serious tae! Come on stop being an ass and help me" I whined to my stupid best friend. "Stop whinning chim. So what your saying is that you want to spend ur vacation on doing a some boring job instead of playing video games and hanging out with me?" "I'm not spending my whole vacation on it!! I just want some part time job! You know how broke i am, come on taeeeee" I quickly defended myself from his judgements. "Okay fineee" it was silent for a while.

"Why dont u ask ur mum? I mean she knows alot of people maybe she can find you a job?" He questioned "that's genius tae!! Oh my god why didnt I think of that!" I exclaimed as I stood up out of excitement. "Okay now go talk to ur mum about it, u biG aDulT" he said highlighting the words 'big adults' in a weird tone. "I swear I would slap you if you ar-" I was cut of when tae hung up on me. I shook my head in disbelief thinking how the hell i ended up with such a genius but dumb best friend.

So now I just gotta wait till mum gets home.

You see I dont really have a specific reason to get money, I mean I'm still in highschool and it's not like my family is poor, yeah I have only my mum but she always gets me everything I need and stuff, it's just that I dont want to depend on my mother too much. I know she works hard, she comes home exhausted and even passes out on the couch without eating dinner. I really appreciate my mother that's why I thought of doing something on my vacation so I can do some stuff for my mother and I.

My train of thoughts were cut of when I heard the front door open. Knowing it's my mum I got up from the couch that I was in an walked towards to the door.

"Mom? Why are you home early?" I questioned puzzled as I looked at her smiling face while removing her shoes. "Ah I didnt give to work today hun. I went to visit my friend" she said while walking towards the kitchen "Ah mrs. Jeon? Your new friend?" "Yeah, they are in need of a baby sitter and asked me if I knew someone. I love to spend time with their child but i cant with my busy schedule" mum said while pouring herself a glass of water. I just nodded my head and was about to go back upstairs. Then it hit me. They need a babysitter.

"WAIT" I screamed halfway towards the stairs looking at my mum with wide eyes. Mum almost spilled the water she was drinking and put a hand on her chest while mumbling a quite "what the fuck" and that made me go to a fit of laughter looking at her face that was priceless.

"You said they need a babysitter right?" I questioned once I finished laughing. "Yeah?" She asked confused. "Well.." I put my hands in the air as if I 'presenting' myself and raised my eyebrows. My mum still looked puzzled. I sighed. "I'm saying I would like to babysit at jeons" I said as my mums not taking the hint I gave. It seems like a lightbulb went through her head. "Ohhh" she said while nodding her head repeatedly. "That's a good idea! Specially since it's your vacation, itll be convenient! I'll talk to mrs. Jeon and tell you" I mumbled a quick okay with a grin and started walking back to my room. "Jimin!" Mum screamed as I was stepping up the stairs making me stop and turn to her with a confused look. "You know they have a son ur age, I have to add that hes quite handsome..... and hot" she said with a wink and a big smirk. I just roll my eyes and replied with a "you know I'm not interested mom!" And walked back to my room.

Well now I have a chance of having a job. Hopefully the jeons will agree on having me over. I smiled at the thought and continue my day thinking about the babysitting time to time.

It was night time already and I just spend playing minecraft the whole day. Hey dont judge it's my vacation for gods sake.

My mum called me down for dinner. We both sat down eating the pasta that she cooked in a comfortable silence. Until she decides to break it "oh and mrs jeon said you should come tomorrow at 7am there since they should be going to work at 8" mum said while looking at her plate like it's no big deal while I just chocked on the pasta that I was eating. "Wait so I got the job?" I asked after i calmed down. "Yeah" it was silent again after while we ate our dinner in peace. But my mind was thinking how they could hire a babysitter that easily, I mean as far as I know they are hella rich. What if I'm a thief or something? Are they dumb?

I went to sleep thinking of what I'm suppose to do tomorrow. I'm good with kids yeah but i cant help but get nervous a bit.
