A/N: Hey guys so this is my first time attempting to write a book. Let's see how it works out, I'm planning to make this a series, depending on how many votes, comments and things like that! I think the song "Dynasty" really fits the prologue so play it while reading for the full experience! Also please don't hesitate to comment constructive criticism always helps, and I'd love to know what you think about it so far! Also if you ever see this published any where please let me know, I don't want anyone using my story. It's original and I worked hard coming up with this, this should only be on Wattpad, under my account.

The mood was somber, grim faces all around the throne room. How could this've happened? How could she have done this? Betrayal was the last thing that had been expected, and that too from the goddess of loyalty. Ironic isn't it? Ever since Triton was banished, she had started acting odd, almost evil, but nobody expected it to be this serious. As the Olympians looked down, towards the floor where the beautiful goddess was chained, her mis-matched eyes not meeting their gaze. Her long locks of raven locks sprawled out, almost in a crazed way. 13 of the 14 Olympian thrones occupied, they all gazed down deciding what they should do. With a heavy heart they all knew that for an act like this she needed to be punished.

However, with all of their past memories resurfacing, each and everyone of them hoped that they wouldn't have to take such drastic measures, a hopeless and futile wish, but still they hoped. All eyes turned to Zeus, all hoping that their king would be merciful towards the young princess of Atlantis, but his gaze held fire. Swirling electric blue and gray irises that held rage beyond compare. Of course it was reasonable, the situation they were in not at all helping the king's mood. "Banishment!" He declared. "For what you have dared to do Adeline,  turning you mortal would be a fitting punishment. You dared to try and aid a prisoner! A TRAITOR!" He roared, voice echoing around the throne room. Finally the chained goddess looked up, meeting her uncles eyes, a staring contest between electric blue and 2 mis-matched yet beautiful orbs of golden and white. She didn't speak, for she didn't need to, the steely gaze which she gazed at him was enough to make him shiver and flinch back before regaining composure. "My brother" she finally spoke voice powerful and velvety smooth "I deny your accusations milord, for what I did was simply attempt to help my brother." She spoke calmly, voice colder that the tops of Mt. Olympus itself. Everyone else was quiet, all dreading to witness how this'll play out. With knowledge of Zeus's paranoia, they were all aware that what he said would go. Banishment from Olympus however, was a harsh punishment, it was no small deal for a god or goddess to be stripped of immortality. Yet, it was probably for the best, because there were other punishments that were much harsher.

"And yet you admit your treason of helping an  offender of Olympus?" Questioned Zeus, losing his patience. However, it was clear the goddess wasn't going to speak, for she had diverted her attention back to the marble and gold floors of the Olympia throne room. After a moment of silence Zeus finally spoke, voice for the first time holding a hint of sadness. "Then I have no other choice. You shall be cast down into the mortal world. Stripped of your immortality and your powers shall be dampened. Because of the severity of the atrocious act. You shall have to do great deeds if you wish to regain your status as the 14th Olympian." All eyes, some holding sorrow others pity, once again met the goddess, but she mad no move to meet their eyes. Instead her eyes were cast towards the pool of eternal water at the side of her father's throne. With that Zeus aimed his Master bolt at his niece firing a blast, that forced the goddess to let out an agonizing scream, silver tears leaking out of her eyes. All of the gods and goddesses averted their eyes not wanting to see one of their own in pain, with the knowledge that they had no ability to help the young goddess. They listened as her screams traveled along the room, for the first time feeling powerless. With one final scream the once goddess dropped limp, only being held up by her chains. Tear tracks stained her cheeks and her wrists, neck and legs were bruised due to the tight chains she hadn't felt as a goddess.

It was done Goddess Adeline Persia Atlantia was officially a Demi-goddess. One thing the Olympians didn't realize however, was that how risky this truly was. Even though it was a punishment, death for the gods and Demi's were different, if she were to die in her mortal form then she would be gone forever. Worse if one of their many enemies were to find a way to destroy her soul in her mortal state than that was it. No resurrection, no fixing her soul, it was over. Another thought they neglected was that she was the most powerful of them all. It wasn't just her that would be hunted, but chances of enemies trying to take over their thrones were there as well. However, these thoughts occurred to only two beings Lady Athena and Lord Apollo. None spoke up however, both still in a state of depression from what occurred. No matter how much Apollo wanted to he was forbidden from giving information about the future from The Moirai themselves, as a god of prophecy he had knowledge of the future. Despite how grim it looked for the Olympia family, he was powerless not being able to speak up. As for Athena she had no intention to. Call her foolish, but as the goddess of wisdom she knew the consequences on sending the rest of the council in a state of panic. The last time it had happened during the Great War... Well it was safe to say she didn't intend for anything like that to happen again, especially not causing a problem as serious as that herself.
