New Equipment

Gordon POV
Gordon : mr.ducksworth ,there are three reasons I came by . First off ,I would want to let you know that things are going well. I'm learning a lot about team work , fair play and all that junk.
Ducksworth: good , good. And the second thing?
Gordon : well ,sir , fair play doesn't come cheap .these kids ,my team ,have no money . They can't afford rink time ,safe equipment, proper uniforms, which makes it difficult for them to complete. Now imagine, sir , being 10/11, years old and stepping out onto that ice with old copies of the enquirer taped to your shins instead of pads. Thirdly , I have a kid on the team and she needs something more then old hand me downs from her brother who only plays lacrosse , the point I'm trying to make sir is that you wouldn't be taken seriously,and neither are these kids .my kid. So I thought maybe the firm could help 'em out.
Ducksworth:how much are we talking about?
Gordon: fifteen thousand dollars.
Ducksworth: no way.
Gordon : wait a minute.think of the goodwill. We name the team after the firm. Suddenly, we're the good guys. Ducksworth, saver and gross, the firm that gives back to the community.
Ducksworth: ( he put his finger to his mouth and thinks for a second )
Gordon: come on. I'll get you your own jersey.
Ducksworth: (looks up and down and he agrees )

At Hans shop
Sierra's POV
(Cheering )
( we all ran inside to this guy Hans shop and we looked for all of our new equipment since my dad got the money from his boss)
(Terry , Jesse and Averman were fighting with some gloves and Goldberg went to try on his goalie stuff ) (everyone went crazy )
Sierra- yo princess,look at these amazing sticks !
(Carson came to me and we adored the hockey sticks together and then Charlie came and dropped them all)
Carson- wow ,they are amazing!
Charlie - yeah ,look at this one !( he grabs it and then all of the sticks fall to the ground) Sierra : oh no , char what are you doing!
Charlie : heh ,sorry.
Carson: Charlie ,don't stand there all innocent help me pick them up before coach sees !
Sierra : I'll distract him don't worry .now char help your sister please !
( I passed Averman and Jesse bumping each other with their new pads)
Sierra: yeah ,hit him les, good job Jesse !
(Jesse and Averman bow , then scream hiya and start to punch each other ) ( I finally get to my dad and Hans)
Sierra :hey ,guys !
Gordon: oh hey ,kid you look nice in all of that new equipment!
Sierra : why ,thank you kind sir!( I curtsy at him and chuckle a little )
Hans : so this is Sierra right ?
Sierra : the one and only sir!
Hans : well I'm Hans nice to meet you ma'am.
Sierra : dad he's nice ,how do you know him?
Gordon : what, I'm i not nice ? he's an old family friend .
Hans: old really ?
( I laugh )
Sierra :yeah Bombay he's not old ! He's just a larger age then us .
(Hans and Gordon laugh at my comment)
Sierra:Well I'm gonna go find Peter ,since he's probably lost some where.
( I see Charlie and Fulton by the really cool hockey stick I had my eyes on )
Sierra :woah Conway ,what you doing with the cool stick ?
Charlie : well ,Fulton, got it for me .
(I turn to Fulton then see faith behind him)
Sierra : oh hey ,faith , I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house for a sleepover! Also Fulton do you think you can beat Charlie up for that stick since I saw it first. ( I laughed and so did faith since she knew he would do it)
Fulton: Charlie , can sierra have the stick I can get you another one .
Charlie : oh ,yeah sure .
Sierra: why thank you char , I can ask my dad to find you another one that matches this one !
Charlie : really , ok cool thanks Bombay !
( Charlie gives me a hug ,I hug him back )
Sierra:So back to faith ,is it a yes or no for the sleep over ?
Faith: oh i would love too but ,can Fulton come too?
Sierra : yeah of course he can ,I just need to ask some of the other girls and some of the guys ,then we can have two sleepovers at my house!
Faith : great !
Fulton: yeah ,it sounds cool .
( I noticed Bombay and guy talking when the reeds started to leave and wanted to get closer to hear them )
Gordon: who is that kid ?
Charlie : thanks ,Fulton .
Sierra :yeah ,thanks .
( Charlie and I looked at the beautiful stick Fulton got for Charlie ) (I then walk to we're I can hear my dad and guy talk )
Guy: that's Fulton reed . He's in one of my classes .
Gordon : how come he's not on the team?
Jesse: he only plays football. Some preppie school gave him a scholarship as long as he doesn't play hockey .
Gordon : who's the girl with him?
( I come up to him )
Sierra :that's faith reed .Fulton big sister , she's in some of my classes ,we are gonna hang out today since I asked her to come over .
Gordon: oh so ,she gonna be with you today Sierra ?
Sierra: yes , so is Fulton so when you come over be nice !
Jesse : he's going to your house?
Sierra: what Bombay or Fulton ?
Jesse: both ?
Sierra :well yeah Bombay my dad ,faith asked if Fulton can come too , I kinda need some of you guys to come too if that's fine .
Jesse : yeah, I can ask the guys .
Sierra : yay ,thank you Jesse !
( you give Jesse a hug before they all go back to talking about Fulton)

Guy: I heard it was colleges . He's already been accepted to four of 'em.
Goldberg: heh but I heard he's gotta repeat the sixth grade.
Jesse: ah , shut up .
Sierra: yeah ,shut up Goldie! ( I walk over to Peter and he's looking at a old picture )
Peter: Gordon Bombay?
Sierra: what ,about Bombay ?
Peter: Sierra ,Bombay was a hawk.
Sierra: what !
