The Lone Wolf wasn't like any other wolf, he couldn't seem to die. It had been nearly 500 years, he had seen his former childhood friends grow up, have kids, then have grandkids and die. But he's still here, going through moon after moon on his own. He came to terms with living on his own after a few decades, in fact, he preferred to be alone, dreading it when he had to go into society for whatever reason. Society as a whole forgot about him, other than curious teenagers who try to sneak into his house, to see if he's real.

One day, as the wolf went for a hunt, he was hit with a human hunting tranquilliser, and he was captured by the humans. They went to kill the wolf, but he had shifted back into his human form, leaving the humans confused and curious. There he was taken to scientists to be studied, right then and there, the werewolf population had been discovered. He was kept for almost half a century, his immortality keeping him at a disadvantage for escaping the prodding and poking of the scientists.
Soon enough, the werewolves found out they were discovered, after multiple of them were questioned by their humans friends for their supernatural instinct and eye changing abilities. The lone wolf was displayed on the news worldwide and a small group of wolves were able to free the wolf and set him free. The night of his freedom, cold, hungry, and lost, the wolf found a cave to sleep in. His rut came upon him and he satisfied himself until sleep took him.

When he woke up, he was at the entrance of the cave, tied up. He lifted his head to find a group of native humans staring down at him. Afraid he'd get recaptured, he shifted into his wolf and ran, only to collapse yet again in the woods.

As the wolf awakes, he finds himself covered in his human form by another wolf. Startled, he tries to run, but his trapped under the weight of the other wolf. This causes said wolf to awaken, standing up to her full height, gazing down at him with golden eyes. The man stands up shakily, slow as to not startle the wolf. Before the man could open his mouth, shots are heard in the distance, and both wolfs heard the sound of yelling humans. The wolf nudged the man, urging him to shift and she run off. The man, understanding the message, shifts and sprints off following the female.

After some time they arrive at a wolf sanctuary, a small werewolf village. Seemingly knowing of the place, the female wolf runs through, whizzing by houses and work buildings. She runs to the edge where the village meets the forest, up to a small cottage house. The lone wolf follows her onto the porch, stopping at the doorway as he smells the alphas scent surrounding the house. The female runs inside, shifting back into her human form. She grabs some comfortable clothes, bringing it to the waiting wolf on her porch.

After some time the alpha of the house arrived, immediately growling at the foreign alpha wolf on his steps. The lone wolf immediately bowed down, calming the alpha down, the female explains the situation.

The wolf ended up staying with the wolf couple for a few months, being tended to by the female wolf. He had many wounds due to the scientists and his adrenaline runs, so he had many scars by the time he was fully healed. During those months however, the wolf fell in love with the alpha's female. He kept his feelings to hisself, not wanting to break the alphas trust. However, one day as the alpha had gone hunting, the female revealed that she returned those feelings, and they eloped. They had many encounters together secretly among these months, especially when the lone wolf went into rut. The alpha wolf however, had no knowledge of the actions of the other wolves.

When the wolf was fully healed, he left the house, returning to his home in the woods at last. He lived peacefully for almost half a year, until the female wolf who had healed him, came to him with two little pups. She had gotten pregnant and gave birth to twins, and the alpha wolf found out that his mate wasn't faithful and kicked her out. The lone wolf took them in and they lived on as a family.

The lone wolf lived with this family until his wife and children grew old and died. He looked over his grandkids, great grandkids and the children after that. He is now considered the Great Elder of the werewolf community. There is a council of elder wolves who protect his home so he doesn't get caught by humans again. Whenever a wolf needs advice, by permission of the council, will see the Great Elder, for he has seen and been through things unimaginable. His family however, can see him as they please, under supervision from a guard.
