*A month passes bc idk what to write 😗👍*
Venti and Xiao has been meeting up for a couple months now, they've gotten very close and Venti thought that he was Xiao's best friend. But, Venti always had this feeling inside of him, when ever he saw Xiao he would feel really hot and his great would start beating really fast.

It was bright and early in the morning.
Venti was picking flowers under an apple tree, and Xiao was was laying down right next to him. Xiao then wanted to ask Venti something.

"Hey Venti?"
"Yess Xiao (^3^)"
"Let's so visit Mr. Zhongli tonight, he told me he'll bring us to dinner. I think he'll bring Childe too, not really sure."
"Oh! That sounds really fun!"
"I also have to visit a couple friends this afternoon, you wanna meet them?"
"Of course silly! I've always wanted to meet your friends!"

Venti and Xiao got really close between the couple of months, almost everyone in Mondstadt and Liyue thought they were dating. Maybe that's why Zhongli made dinner plans at night.
It soon was soon the afternoon and they both started walking to Liyue.

'I wonder who his friends are, I really want to see them! I hope they're fun!
"Venti, what's up? You haven't talked for a while."
"Oh! I was just deep in thought! Hehe"
"Ah, okay. Well we're almost at Liyue, and we have to go to the Wanmin Restaurant."
"I remember that place! You brought me there to dinner once!"
"Yup"

15 minutes later
The two got to the Wanmin Restaurant and there were two girls. There was a girl with brownish black hair that faded to red at the ends and she wore her hair in twin tails. The other girl had blue hair that faded a darker blue at the end, her hair was in a very loose ponytail.

"Hey Ganyu and Hu Tao, I invited my friend, Venti over if that was okay."
"Xiao! Of course that's okay! Hehe, you always mentioned him whenever you get the chance to!" Girl with twin tails said.
"Ah! Hu tao, you're embarrassing Xiao! He's turning red!"

Oh so that's how they are! Hu Tao is red, Ganyu is blue! I'll remember them just like that! Wait, Xiao is red?! Oh no! What do I do?

"Xiao,, are you okay?"
"Venti? Uhm I, I'm fine" he says as he turns his head.
We go to the table Hu Tao and Ganyu are sitting and I give them a smile.

"Hi Venti! I'm Hu Tao! I hope we can be good friends!"
"I hope so too!"
"Ah, I'm Ganyu, nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you as well!"

Xiao's friends were very nice, I don't understand why he's being so quiet now?

"Sooo Xiaooo, are you gonna tell Venti or am I gonna tell him?~"
"Hu Tao, please don't, let's just order."
"Oooh~~ you're getting really embarrassed!~ isn't that right Ganyu?~"
"Oh, well he is getting embarrassed,,"
Heh, see! Even Ganyu knows you're embarrassed, it's written all over your face!~"
"What's wrong? Is it that bad even Xiao won't tell me?"
"How about we order our food, I'll tell you after our food comes, Venti"
"Xiao, you really aren't no fun!~"
"Im literally going to tell him when your food comes, so be quiet Ms. Hu Tao."
"Sooo, Ganyu! What do you do on your free time?" I ask
"Ah, I usually don't get questions like this. Well I serve as an emissary and secretary for the Liyue Qixing."
"Wow! That sounds so cool!"
"Heh, thank you, what do you do?"
"I'm just the Barbatos of Mondstadt, nothing really too special!"
"Ah, it is special. You get a big role like that, I find it really nice." Ganyu says as she takes a sip out of her water.
"Ah, Hu Tao, what do you do!"
"Thankful you asked! I'm the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor!"
"Heh, that's very cool!"

A few moments later our food comes, I had Xiao pick my food because I forgot what I ordered last time, god I got to stop thinking about Xiao, he clearly thinks of me as a friend.
Our food come and Xiao finally tells me what Hu Tao is making fun of him for.

"The thing Hu Tao is making fun of me for is that I talk about you every time I'm with her,,"
"Awe! That's so sweet! Hehe!"
"Sweet and so cheesy! At this point you guys are like an old married couple!"

4 hour pass, finishing their long conversation and they all day their goodbyes

We all go our separate ways, Hu Tao and Ganyu were very nice and kind, I like Hu Tao, she's very entertaining and energetic. I also like Ganyu, she's very sweet and kind.

"How do you like them?"
"Ah, I thought they were wonderful! They were very nice!"
"Let's go to my place, Mr. Zhongli said we'll go to dinner at 9"
"Okay!"

I don't know how I can keep this act up, it's so hard. I want to kiss Xiao, hug Xiao, and I just want to be more than "just friends" with Xiao. If I slip up and actually confess to him, I'm dead.

We get to Xiao's place, I really don't think I can hold it in anymore. I need to tell him I like him.

"Xiao, I have a question."
"Sure, what's up?"
"What do you think of me?"
"Why are you so serious all of a sudden?"
"Please answer Xiao. I need to know."

Why am I like this? Why and I asking Xiao this dumb question?

"Venti? Well, I think of you as my best friend, I mean, you really did get to my good side."
"Oh, okay then."

What was I expecting. Xiao will never like me back. I'm an idiot.
"I'm gonna go on a walk."
"Wait- Venti! What's wrong? You are my best friend, didn't you want that?"
"Please don't follow me, I just need fresh air."

What is wrong with me? Letting my emotions get out like that. It's almost 9, I better hurry up and go back to Xiao before he worries.
