Izuku loves these types of mornings. The slow, quiet ones where neither he or his mother are in any hurry. The ones where they could sit comfortably in silence but with each other's company. He holds these moments to his heart, and sometimes he wishes they would never end. Junior high is proving to be difficult this year.
Inko releases a soft sigh, setting down the mug of tea she just took a sip from. Her eyes are shut, her face peaceful but slightly worn. However, a beautiful and tender smile adorns her lips, one that Izuku can't help but copy. He takes a sip of his own tea, the slightly bitter flavor filling his mouth. The warmth somehow makes him relax even more.
"I love you, Mom."
"I love you too, Izuku."
