"No..." Said Cure, "Or, I dunno, maybe, but I don't think so. But, I think... It makes sense doesn't it. Love it cruel and it's last trick would be you making that sacrifice."

"Not all love is cruel," said One disturbed by this.

"It can be, really easily."

"Then it's not love."

"But what do you have besides it? What else would you call it. That level of suffering is love. In a sense. It's just.... Not enough somehow."

"Somehow?"

"But I don't want you to do that for me" said Cure, "I just....I just think that's what the simulation or whatever this is is trying to get you to do. I think it's your test."

"That can't be right. We have a choice as to what this is. The actual realities of it are clear, and open"

"They may be clear. But they aren't open" said Cure, turning away. "I promise you, it's coming."

And then she turned, walked back through the desert, and into the little metal house.
