Pickle hummed a happy tune as he fried the fish on the pan. He moved the spatula to flip the fish before getting a plate and turning off the stove. Just as he did, a message appeared on his laptop with a blink.
"Hmm?" He quickly placed the fish on the plate and set it on the table then he drove towards his laptop. "A new email?"
He opened up the new email and blinked as he read the whole thing. While he did so, Crusher came into the dining room with a yawn.
"Ugh..." he groaned, rubbing his eyes as he made his way to the table. "G'morning, Pickle,"
"Morning," Pickle gave him a wave, but his attention was still on the laptop. "And don't eat the fish yet. It's still hot,"
"Aw, okay," Crusher sighed, turning to get the plates and utensils to set up the table.
Pickle replied to the email quickly and with a nod then he closed his laptop. He turned to his roommate, who had opened up a newspaper to read, and drove towards him.
"Hey, Crusher? Do you have a race tonight?"
"No..." Crusher looked up from the newspaper. "why do you ask?"
"I've got another mission," Pickle said with a shrug. "40K for the bidding,"
"Oh," Crusher set down the paper. "Who is it?"
"Anonymous, Code name: GC04," Pickle replied as he got the knife and leaned over to cut the fried fish. "As for the target... a corrupt politician from the other city. I'll be making my trip tonight, so I can get back by tomorrow morning,"
"I only have one race today, and that's in the afternoon," Crusher told him. "In the Monster Dome,"
"Ah, I see," Pickle nodded before smiling sweetly. "So... one race? Just one?"
"Y-Yes...?" Crusher looked at the other oddly. "What of it?"
"Maybe you should try racing without cheating today," Pickle suggested innocently. "Maybe you'll get the chance to win if you don't cheat for once~"
Crusher backed up a bit. "Pickle, you KNOW that you scare me every time you use that tone on me,"
"I'm surprised that you noticed," Pickle chuckled. "but you know that I've got a point,"
"Alright, alright," Crusher let out a sigh and turned back to his food. "I'll try not to cheat today,"
"Great!" Pickle beamed. "Also, don't forget to spray some disinfectant spray on my collection in the basement. Wouldn't want the germs and the worms getting to them, you know?"
"Of course," Crusher nodded and watched as the other finished his food. "Should I make room for the next body to arrive?"
"Yep!" Pickle gave a nod and set his fork down. "Oh! And can you prepare my gun and sword before we go? I still got some chores to do,"
"Okay," Crusher smiled and proceeded to eat. "As soon as I'm done with breakfast,"
"Thanks, Crusher!" Pickle set his plate in the sink and drove off.

"And the winner is... Blaze! And his driver AJ!" Bump Bumperman announced as the duo crossed the finish line.
Crusher sighed and drove off, not even bothering to cross the finish line after his rival as he made his way out of the Monster Dome. Pickle gave Blaze a quickly congratulations then he turned to follow after the dark blue truck.
"Well, you had a chance," the green truck giggled.
"If only he didn't have any Blazing Speed..." Crusher grumbled.
"Welp, he has, and we can't do anything about it," Pickle shrugged nonchalantly.
"Pity," Crusher hissed.
"I COULD always help," Pickle offered gently. "It WILL be pricey but totally worth it!"
"Pickle, we talked about this..." Crusher let out a sigh. "I don't mind you doing your job because you're my best friend, and I accept you for who you are, but it doesn't meant I wanna participate in what you're doing. It's just... not my style,"
"Aww, okay," Pickle smiled. "Well, I've got a lot of spare time before I start my assignment. We can go get some ice cream or something,"
"Ice cream sounds nice," Crusher nodded with a smile.

"See ya, Crusher, gotta go!" Pickle waved his best friend goodbye before exiting through the window in his black outfit.
"Bye," Crusher waved in return then he set his book down and headed to the kitchen.
He knew that the green truck was going to be starving after his mission.
As soon as he was done with his best friend's snack, he headed over to the living room and opened up a secret door on the floor. Through that, he headed down to the basement.
"Time to disinfect Pickle's collection," he muttered to himself as he approached a shelf full of truck heads. "Starting with the first one..."
He sprayed disinfectant spray at the collection then he moved on to the next collections. There was a collection of different organs like hearts, lungs, eyeballs, and etc. There were also collections of bloody tires, twisted exhaust pipes and broken engines.
Once everything was disinfected, he made some room in each collection in case for any souvenir that Pickle usually took back after his missions.
As soon as he was done, he went back up, shut the door closed behind him and headed to his room. As soon as he got on the bed, he collapsed in exhaustion.

"Crush, I'm back!~" Pickle greeted as soon as he got back, a black sack in his tires. "Hey, where'd he go?"
He headed to the kitchen and lit up when he saw the snack at the counter, covered in case of any pests. He set the sack down and ate his food instantly then he grabbed the sack and dragged it through the apartment. He headed to the secret door and headed inside.
As soon as he was inside, he set the sack down and opened it up, revealing tanks of organs and another beheaded head of a truck. He placed the stuff up on each of his collections then he placed the sack in the nearby furnace and went back up.
"Crush? You around here?" he asked as he looked around. "Huh, did he go to bed already?"
He turned and headed towards their rooms. Lo and behold, there was Crusher fast asleep on the bed. The sight made Pickle giggle with a light blush before he closed the door to let his rest.
