"Hello everybody we're y/n Fiorentino..." The Italian driver introduces herself, opening the video that was being recorded and looks over to the man next to her to introduce himself as well.
"... And Daniel Ricciardo..."
"... And we're doing the Dare To Drive challenge by McLaren and Petronas Yamaha."
The two burst out in laughter right after as they have been trying to hold it through the introduction. This was the fifth time they were filming the intro only as they had messed up every other take.
"I can't do this." Daniel breaths out between laughs.
"Come on, old man, we got a track to drive."
"Call me old man once more, and I won't even try to hold back at racing you."
"You won't even be able to keep up with me."
They walk through the pitlane towards the car and the motorbike, the camera following them as they talk.
"As we y/n was saying, we are doing the Dare To Drive challenge, which basically means that I am going to beat her while driving her bike and she's in my car." The Australian explains with a big smile.
She playfully rolls her eyes at him and replies: "Whatever you say. We've both done some sim-practicing to prepare for the drive so we got a bit of the feeling of what it's like to drive a Formula One car or a MotoGP bike."
The video goes on and is posted a day after recording and editing. Fans are going crazy about it and the video goes viral, making Daniel and Y/n meet up once again to do a Q&A on Instagram live. They are still in the same area so the meeting is arranged rather easily.
Daniel is excited to see Y/n again. It only has been a couple of days since they had filmed the video, but he enjoyed her presence. You met each other's vibe, and though it would annoy the people around you at some point, you kept on joking and laughing.
