It was Monday morning, the week after the USJ attack, and as expected Kirishima and Denki were talking about how cool it was to have people notice them, Jirou told them it was only logical that they'd cover the incident on the news. She said it's because we were the school that "pumped out heroes." Everyone continued talking about the incident until we heard Iida, "Attention homeroom class is about to begin! Everyone stop talking and take your seats" he ordered. "Uh, we're all sitting" Eji argued, "Yeah, you're the only one standing," Sero added. Iida took his seat angry and embarrassed as Urakara comforted him. We were all amazed when Mr. Aizawa walked in prepared to teach us. "Your fight isn't over yet" he spoke, his voice muffled by his bandages. Everyone looked around at each other wondering what fight would come next. "The UA Sports Festival is about to start," Aizawa finished. The class gasped in excitement before calming down. Jirou and Ojiro were concerned about having a festival so soon after an attack but Mr. Aizawa said "The administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever. Plus they're beefing up security compared to past years. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains." Of course, this made Mineta cower in fear. Everyone became excited about getting scouted by pro-heroes.
Mr. Aizawa dismissed our class for lunch after warning us not to slack off on our training. "So does that mean you leeches want to spar and hit the gym" I asked the Bakusquad. "Me and Kirishima probably train too intense for you extras" Katsuki barked. "Now Kat you know you love us so get over yourself, don't you want to spar with me?" I asked. He immediately perked up "Y/n I can't wait to kill you" he growled, I laughed at his remark before walking away.
During lunch, the boys talked about how pumped they were for the games. I sat alone watching the class talk about being in the games for a while before walking out. "Oh kitten, what're you doing out of your room" I heard a tired voice say I turned around to be met with lavender eyes "Y'know I was just getting food, you forgot to feed me," I said while walking away. Once I got into the lunch line I saw Todoroki watching Iida and Urakara as they spoke about All Might and Deku's similarities. I approached Shoto "Sho. Eavesdropping is creepy" I told him he jumped in slight panic "Oh uh well they're right it's eerie how similar they are" he argued. I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed my food before sitting with Shoto on a corner table. We talked about training methods and he offered to have me train with him on days when he wasn't training with his father. I knew Shoto had resentment for Endeavor, I wondered why he did but I knew he'd let me know if and when it became necessary.
After school I drove Shoto and myself to his house he seemed stressed out "Hey Sho we can train somewhere else if you want" I told him he just shook his head no and stared out the window. We pulled up to his house and he immediately took me to the training center under his house.
"Quirk-less sparing?" he asked, I nodded my head before stretching. "Shoto you do know I'm trained for this right?" I teased. He grunted before charging at me. I could see that his first thought was to overpower me, he grabbed my waist and arm then lifted me over his shoulder. I turned my body to free from his grip and flipped over his shoulder pushing him in the process, as he crashed into a wall. I pushed his head into the wall and Venom's tongue escaped my mouth and licked his face "No quirks" he argued "I'm not using one" I joked before letting him go. We repositioned ourselves to battle this time I charged him, faked an attack from above, and grabbed his leg. He threw his knee into my face causing me to cough out some blood before jumping up and wrapping my left leg around his face and spinning him to the ground. I stood up again "Come on Sho, you're boring me" I growled. He came at me and we began punching at each other and deflecting punches at unbelievable speeds. After a while, Sho landed a solid punch under my rib and I collapsed onto my back. He immediately jumped on me straddling my body. I looked at him in surprise and sat up slightly as he began leaning forward. I looked at his lips as they came closer and wrapped an arm around the back of his neck. Just before our lips connected I rolled him to his back and went to his ear to whisper "Shoto. You shouldn't be so easy to distract." Suddenly we heard a booming voice "I agree" Endeavor growled. My eyes shot in his direction and I quickly jumped off of Shoto. "We were training father, relax," Shoto said. "Well, I'd say you've done plenty of that training for now" Endeavor argued before telling Shoto to escort me out. "Y'know Shoto you totally would've kissed me" I teased, suddenly Shoto's face burned red "Maybe," he said. I kissed his cheek before getting into my car "Be bolder Shoto" I told him before driving off.
The week consisted of quirk-less brawling with Shoto and the Bakusquad. Nonetheless, we felt ready, it felt like the world only spun for the sake of training, and school of course.
"The UA Sports Festival is about to start. Joining a famous hero agency can indeed garner you greater experience and popularity. One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training" Mr. Aizawa warned us once more, then the lunch bell rang. I went to the forest to hunt for Venom and then to train my agility. As an ex-gymnast, I was plenty agile, but sometimes I needed to make sure that my focus was solid to coordinate with Venom. Me and Venom felt like we were truly becoming one person when we were jumping through trees and running on all fours. Suddenly Venom shape-shifted into a wolf. We were gorgeous, all black with the signature white eyes that Venom possessed.

The rush I felt was amazing and when we reached a cliff I skidded to a halt and returned to my form before laying down. 'Venom I thought you could only turn into weapons and shit.' 'So did I' Venom responded.
I got up and dusted myself off, as I began to head to my class I kept thinking about the excitement I felt about my newfound ability.
Class flew by quickly and as the final bell rang we opened the door to be met with a horde of students from other classes. Urakara exclaimed, "U-um why the heck are you all here?" Katsuki then said "They're here to scout the competition, idiots. We're the class that survived a real villain attack, they wanna see us with their own eyes." He then walked up to the horde gathered outside our classroom "At least now you know what a future pro looks like. Now move it, extras" Kat demanded. To which I heard a familiar voice reply "So this is class 1-A. I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the hero course delusional, or just you?" Shinso asked. I finally stood from my desk and went to the door "Now now kitten that's not a very nice way to talk to us is it?" I asked. Shinso turned a subtle shade of red before turning back to Kat "How sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs." Katsuki was fuming at the purple-haired boy who continued to say how he planned to take someone's spot in the hero course. He called the whole conversation his official declaration of war. Immediately Venom reached out for Shinso and I jumped on his chest, making him fall backwards. In a sultry voice, I told him "Oh Shinso. War? On me? That's not a good idea. However, if wars what you want." I then licked his cheek and let out an *mmm*, "I'll make sure to deliver your lifeless body to your parents myself." Shinso was in shock at my words, I looked at Katsuki who said "These people don't matter. The only important thing is that I beat them." I smiled at his remark before jumping up and grabbing his arm. "Oi parasite why're you hanging on me" he growled. "Oh shut up Katsuki, that was a badass moment, and you had a great exit. I had to be part of it" I laughed as we walked out of the campus. "We're gonna kill them. Right, Kat?" I asked flirtatiously as if murder wasn't on both our minds, he smirked at my eagerness "What else would we do you damn e-extra?"
There were two weeks left until the Festival. I started training alone, trying to perfect my shape-shifting skills. Eventually, I got to the point where I could maintain a psychological link to Venom while he left my body in animal form. I worked on using my water bending to manipulate my sweat into solidified weapons, so far I could make daggers at my fingertips, and throwing stars. Venom could also create any weapons for me but this way I could have weapons at my disposal so that if and when he leaves my body I'm still armed. I was ready for the games, ready to fight.
It was time for the festival.
