Lizzie's POV

I was running down blood red halls, doors as far as the eye could see...all twisted and morphed in strange and curious shapes and as I looked behind a few things just kept getting even stranger...one room was full of tall mushrooms that rose high above my head towering over me...another was a room where up was down and down was up with the furniture on above my head and the chandelier standing upright like a lamp...another one was a garden where you could hear singing and a long table with nothing but teapots and cups all whistling by themselves along with the tune but it was the last door...a blood red one in the shape of a heart...that really seemed strange... it lead to a maze with thousands of bushes all covered in roses dripping red...

I approached them cautiously and touched a teardrop of wet pulling my finger away frowning at the substance realizing it was red paint...who on earth would paint roses red...I turned to head back to the hallway when I realized the door had disappeared and my eyes widened before I spun back to the maze since it was the only way to go now...I began to walk forward twisting and turning through it trying to find the exit when I heard the sound of a bugle horn and the sound of marching feet.

I moved to hide as playing cards with heads and feet made their way towards me marching in unison before they all stopped and countered off from one to the Jack forming an aisle before a white rabbit in a waistcoat came running down blowing a small horn.

"A rabbit in a waistcoat?" I found myself asking tilting my head in confusion.

"Presenting the Queen of Hearts!" the rabbit announced and I felt fear take hold of me waiting for the entrance of the queen but it never came and it was then that I noticed they were all looking in my direction.

"Me?" I asked and they all bowed.

"Your majesty" the rabbit said as he bowed, I frowned walking forward suddenly aware that I was in a red dress with black and yellow patterns around the skirt, and there was a weight atop of my head making me reach up and felt the cold metal of a crown.

"I'm the queen?" I questioned confused as I walked down the aisle with the cards all trembling at the sight of me...this all becomes curiouser and curiouser but never more so than when I suddenly came upon a garden of looking glasses and my eyes widened at the sight of myself...I looked like...my mother...my face curled in a sneer that no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't disappear.

"I told you my child, you are your mothers daughter" I heard and spun around coming face to face with my mother only she was dressed in peasant clothes. "In fact your crueler than I ever was"

"Was?" I asked since she wasn't making any sense.

"I would never really kill my own flesh and blood" I frowned confused until I looked down and saw my mother's head beneath my feet, her headless body beside it and when I looked back up I didn't see my mother in front of me instead I was looking at a copy of myself standing in the dress I had been wearing since upon further look down at myself I was in my usual clothes...my pirate sword strapped to my belt.

"No...no I wouldn't do this" I argued shaking my head.

"But we have" she argued sneering and I glared at her.

"No I'm nothing like her!" I yelled at her clenching my fists.

"We're worse than our mother" she argued.

"I could never do the things she's done"

"You already have, you're the purest of evil"

"I'm not!" I yelled and found myself having crossed the lawn towards her, my sword pressing into her neck glaring at the thin scar that was already there.
