It was the next day, Cat was looking herself over in the mirror. A deep purple bruise lined her jaw, still sensitive but less then the night before. Releasing a grunt Cat went back to her room and pulled on a hoodie, grabbing a black mask from her dresser. She slipped it on and adjusted it, glancing in the mirror near her closet. Covered enough.

Reaching down she grabbed her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder. A loud buzz filling the room.

She looked around, finally finding her phone under the covers of her bed. Right before it was too late she answered.

"What's up dipshit?"

"You ready? Me and Isa are outside."

Oh fuck- was she that late. Cat quickly hung up, shoving the phone in her pocket she ran out of her apartment. She fumbled to lock the door, clipping her keys to her belt she hurried down the steps skipping two at a time. Spotting the twins' white truck she hurried over and jumped in the back door, buckling in before she even got the door closed.

"Let's go let's go! Its a big one today!!" Cat cheered, smacking the back of James's chair as Isabel laughed. James glared at Cat through the rear view mirror but started the truck up and pulled out.

"So whats the bet today Kitten?" Isabel purred, Cat's face flushing into a bright red.

"I- er. I think Harley, 50 on Quinn."

"Nah nah nah, 100 on pool." James snorted. Isa smiled and held out her hand, both of them handing over the money they specified.

It took three hours before they finally pulled into the cramped lot of an old warehouse. It was getting kinda dark out now, gotta love November. And music was blasting from inside. The warehouse was outside the city in a more abandoned area, far from any other people. Perfect for more shady stuff.

The trio hopped out, Cat grabbing Isabel's hand and dragging her to the door. The two of them showed their passes to the bouncer and was let in, hurrying to grab some of the dwindling seats. Saving one for James who struggled to keep up. It was packed today. It was a big match after all. Most of the members of Gotham were in town and some of the big players heard about the ring. It was going to be wild.

Cat was nearly vibrating in excitement when the lights dimmed, unaware of her eyes turning a dull purple and adjusting immediately to the darkness.

The stench of alcohol, sweat and blood made her senses foggy. Adrenaline coursing through her veins. She lived for the cage. Her dream was to be one of the greats.

Almost two hours later and it was the final match. Pool had been taken out in the previous one, James pissed at his lost money. It was Harley, but her contestant dropped. So she was given the option to pick from the crowd.

The were all quiet, not wanting to get picked. But Cat was grinning ear to ear, waiting for the fight. Tho as Harley's eyes locked with hers a shiver of excitement shot along her spine.

Harley smirked and pointed at Cat. Everyone turning to look at her. She was a kid. Why her after all?

Nearly shooting up Cat pretty much ran for the opposite corner, bouncing on the balls of her feet. The ref hesitantly handed her some wraps and a bit.

Surprisingly quickly Cat wrapped her hands, running through everything she knew of harley. Hey, she might win!.... Might.

Popping the bit in her mouth Cat jumped over the rope and into the arena, immediately tossing up her arms inti a boxer stance.

"Oooo you're gonna be fun sweetie~" harley cooed. The ref blew the whistle, the crowd roaring in excitement. Yeah Cat has no chance.. But.

She knew how to put on a show.

Harley shot out her leg, Cat remembering the move turned her weight. Hooking her ankle onto Harley's exposed leg she pulled it from under her. Losing her own balance she dropped to a roll before shooting back up. Harley surprised before an almost evil smile split her face in two.

Cat's heart pounded in her ears and Harley released her onslaught. Blurring her focus and dulling her hearing. Yet everything was so sharp.

Arm up, block a hit.
Duck, toss her leg. Miss, redirect.
Throw a hook, miss.
Duck, miss, roll.

One. Two. Three. Repeat.

Bruises were forming on her arms and gut, sweat dripping down her chin. Air clinging to her face. Harley was far better off but had a nice bruise forming on her eye.

But Cat was at her limit, her lungs burned, her muscles stung. Shaking her head she tightened up her fists.

Harley surprised her, swinging her leg high. Cat couldn't react in time. Harley's heel hooked around her neck, dragging her to the floor. Cat's lungs were stripped of air. Her wrist taking most of the force and snapping. Gritting her teeth as tears dripped down her face Cat remained down for a while. Tapping the mat three times she gave out.

Harley held her hand out, unaware that cat's wrist was broken. Cat grunted and rolled over, agony and fire shooting up her arm like lightning.

Isa ran onto the mat, ignoring the crowd.

"Cat?!"

"I'm. I'm find sunshine. Just broke just broke broke my wrist." Cat wheezed, Harley's eyes going wide. Isa smacked Cat's shoulder, quickly helping her up. The two met with James and left to the hospital. Unaware of the eyes in the crowd watching the entire thing.
