I was sitting in my seat when an alarm went off. It kept saying that there was a threat outside and we should stay calm inside of our classrooms... then the alarms cut off and the principal's voice came on the speakers but before they could say anything we heard screaming and crying and finally the crunching of bones before it went silent... For a moment we all thought they had broken something but no. The next thing we heard was a popping sound and then the lights went out. Kids were screaming and I ran out of the room for my bag, as I ran down the hall I could see my friends looking for their weapons too. Dad was right, they really had found a way to get into our world. I thought they would have been trapped in the 5th dimension for good, guess not. You see my father wasn't from this world he was a knight from his home we humans call the fourth dimension. I guess the field broke and now everybody is turning into gremlins. The principle was now an electric type if I remember correctly. Anyway I ran over to Betty and gave her a big hug before grabbing my stuff and yelling at them to follow me, they grabbed everything they could before catching up with me. We had to dodge a lot of gremlins. More than half of the school was turned. I hear a series of screams and see my friends being eaten turns out they were not worthy enough to be turned i guess. I felt hot tears run down my face as I kept running, running to where I know I'm safe, running to where I can survive, running back home.

Now my dear readers this is just a short little message for you from me, now betty survived but not for long, betty started to eat her friends to blend in with the crowd she felt terrible and there were tears slowly coming from her eyes as she did so but she did it and then sprinted away to find emily again. Before she got eaten as well from being dumb and shouting for emily. That is what happened to the friends and also the end of this chapter.
