*A young girl walked out of the house, she had long orange and black hair and beautiful blue and amber eyes. She was the perfect mix of her mother and father, her father would talk about his adventures through dimensions and her and her mother would listen for hours, heck even days if they could! The little girl ran down a hill and into the forest, the forest she met her worst fear... Broccoli. It was green and gross and yucky flavored to her; it was the devil. She ran and ran back to where her parents were but when she got there they were gone, she didn't run that far away did she? Suddenly the world around her started to shatter and she fell through the blinding white ground into an empty void of darkness screaming for her parents to return.* Emily made it to her house where she ran inside remembering what her parents told her ' If you're ever in danger, go upstairs to the 4th door on the left when you get there enter the trap door under the bed. ' she ran up the stairs sprinting down the hallway until she found the door she opened it and ran inside slamming the door behind her. ' They got in' she thought to herself ' how did they get in?!' she was panicked by now she saw at least 3 to 5 of them running upstairs from the things that destroyed the home she once knew. She calmed down a little and walked over to the bed, crawled under it and slid open the trap door. She closed the metal door and locked it behind her as she could hear banging and then the shattering of the wooden door. She calmed her breathing and looked around the room she was in. It had a bed, the sheets were dark blue and a bit dusty. She saw weird liquid in bottles with different colors and labels on them such as 'Healing potion' and 'Poison(unicorn blood and dragon scales)' were put on the bottles. She looked straight ahead and saw a lever she walked over and pulled it down a bit, the wall beside it flipped over and a loud screeching noise came from above her as she heard footsteps running out of the room and down the hallway. She looked back over to the wall and watched as weapons of all kinds and even some she didn't even know existed were hung up on the wall. She pulled the lever back up and the weapons disappeared. She noticed it went a bit farther up so she pulled it the rest of the way, the wall went up to show a huge pantry filled with food and even a small kitchen in there. She stepped inside and found a little sticky note. She picked it up. ' 1997 ' was all it said on the paper. She folded it up and put it in the pocket of her pants. She stepped into the kitchen and found a bag of chips. She stepped back out, pulled the lever back down and walked over to the bed, swiping off the dust and fluffing the pillows. As she went to fluff the last pillow she watched a piece of paper fall to the floor. 'To: Emily black From:Annie Blake.' It read 'Who is Annie blake?' She thought as she picked up the paper and opened it. 'Hey Emily, it's mom, I know what's happening and me and your father went away for a bit. They got your father and they will get me i just know it so i might as well let myself be taken, the numbers are for the basement passcode go down the stairs and open the metal door it has a portal you need to find the space bar (a/n:dumb name i know) i want you to ask for penny freshmen and tell her your name she knows what to do after that. Goodbye love you now and forever
Mom'
As Emily finished the letter she saw water drip onto the paper only then realizing that she was crying. She set the paper down and wiped her eyes yet they wouldn't stop tearing up at the horrible thought. She walked over to her bed and started to softly sob, her parents, her blood, her family had been taken away from her. Raged by the thought she grabbed the weapon labeled 'Light Speed', wiped her tears, and unlocked the trap door filled with vengeance. She looked out to see if it was clear.. It was. Climbing out of the little space she was in she closed the trap door and ran out into the hallway shooting at every gremlin that crossed her path, a rope of blinding light wrapping around the creatures, slowly increasing the creature in a ball of light until there was nothing left of the light or the creature that she was learning to hate even more for what they did to her friends and family. She shot and shot until she ran out of bullets and even then she didn't stop killing the things until they were all gone out of her house and only then she went back to the little room she was in and finally... screamed. She screamed until there was no more air in her lungs and her throat felt like it was bleeding, even then she didn't stop she screamed out of pain, anger, and regret. Her screams finally died out with a small sob as she climbed into the little bed and tossed the weapon to the side, not even bothering with pulling the covers over her and instead welcomed the dark void of sleep with a sting in her eyes and a few stray tears left as she could have sworn she heard her parents screams of pain of which she could only imagine how much they were in.
