"And so what are you gonna do know?! Take him away from me? Just like how you said that you didn't need me!"
Shoyou felt cold at the moment. She couldn't move. She felt like she was glued to the ground. Shoyou could see those blue eyes with so much feelings, like it was asking for answers and anger. Shoyou knew that this was going to happen and she was prepared for it, but not this early.
"Sho," Kuroo called for the ginger and approached her rubbing her back in concern. Shoyou went back to reality and avoided his stares on her. She looked up to Kuroo and gave a tight loop smile
"You okay?" Kuroo asked and the ginger nodded her head avoiding the other stares of the players.
"Mowwy." Atticus called for her mother and Kuroo carried the child up. Giving a kiss on the head, while Kageyama was watching the three of them like a family. Hinata smiled while looking at them. Kageyama felt his heart ache at the sight in front of him. He wanted to runaway from this sickening sight.
Kageyama turned his back from them and walked to the bench, opening a bottle of water. He looked again at Hinata. He wasn't taking off his eyes at her. He felt mad at what he saw. It was sickening to his eyes.
He felt so insecure at the moment, while looking at Kuroo. To Tobio, Kuroo looks like a nice husband and father. Hinata looked happy with them. The child that looks exactly like him looks happy with Kuroo.
It was the worse feeling for him.
Shoyou told Kuroo to bring Atticus to their unit back. Kuroo nodded in understanding, he knows that the two needed to talk about them. After all, it was their problem and he has no right to intercept in their problem.
Hinata knows what Kageyama wants, he wants answers to all of his question and she's going to answer every single of it.
"Let's talk." Kageyama said in a cold voice and Hinata only nodded in response. She knew that this would happen and it was expected.
Hinata waited until Kageyama finish there training patiently. The team were watching the two quietly. They can feel the tension between the two and stayed quiet, they want to know what's happening, but it's between two only so they don't have a choice but not to intercept.
Kageyama was driving, while Shoyou was beside him in the shot gun seat. Silence enveloped the two, the tension between the two was thick. Kageyama was mad. Shoyou knew about it, so she only stilled stay silent while waiting for Kageyama to finally asking her about everything.
"What's his name?" Kageyama asked in a hoarse and low voice that was enough for Shoyou to hear it.
"Atticus." Shoyou said.
"How old is he?" Kageyama asked her again, wanting to know more of his son. Hw was so sure now that the kid is his.
Shoyou glance at him before biting her lower lip. " His turning two next month." Kageyama poked his inner cheek before nodding.
"The kid's mine isn't it?" Shoyou scoffed at what she heard from Kageyama.
'The audacity calling my child his.' Hinata thought.
"No. Atticus is my child and not yours." Shoyou said in a cold tone, it made Kageyama to tighten his hands in the steering wheel. It pissed him off that Hinata wouldn't admit it, he knows it's his but he want the confirmation from Hinata.
"Why are you lying to me?! I know that child is my son, everything about his features has a big resemblance to me." Kageyma angrily shouted at Shoyou. Shoyou couldn't believe that Kageyama once again hurt her. It made her look like it's her fault.
"Why the fuck are you shouting at me then? You're making it like it's my fault when in the first place it's not!" Shoyou couldn't help but burst off. Kageyama's eyes widened at Shoyou's raise voice. It felt like it was deja vu to the both of them again. It was happening again.
"Stop the fucking car!" Shoyou shouted at Kageyama and the raven-haired did what she said. Shoyou opened the car door and angrily bang the door. Hinata started walking away from him.
Shoyou never liked it when Kageyama was always angry.
Kageyama went down from his car and ran to Shoyou and held her by the wrist stopping her from walking away. Kageyama tried to hug her but Shoyou pushed him away in fury. She was mad at him. Of course, who wouldn't. It was like she was being accused of something that wasn't even her fault.
"STOP TOUCHING ME, YOU BASTARD!" Shoyou shouted at Kageyama.
Kageyama was taken a back when she shouted at him. He never experienced being shouted by Shoyou before. It was just raising her voice and he never have expected her to shout at him. It was hard for him to digest and he didn't know if he should talk at the moment or not.
"I'm sorry." Kageyama said in a low voice and Shoyou scoffed at what he said.
"I never wanted what happened to me in the first place, Tobio. It was hard for me, during my pregnancy..." She paused for a second letting out a sob before continuing. "You don't know how hard it was during my pregnancy. I was all alone and studying at that time, it was so fucking hard. You don't know how much I suffered when you told me that we should break if I was going to leave you so I can study in brazil." An awful voice crack was evident at the last.
"I know and I'm a stupid bastard for acting like that. I regretted it and I grew up realizing that I was stupid of breaking up with you and breaking your heart." Kageyama said while tears are forming in his eyes.
"So please let me meet my son, Shoyou." Kageyama begged Shoyou and even went down on his knees holding the woman's hand begging. Shoyou closed her eyes tightly at this, it was a hard sight to look at
"And so what are you gonna do know?! Take him away from me? Just like how you said that you didn't need me!" Shoyou raised her voice and she can hear Kageyama continously saying no to what she said.
"I won't. I'm not taking him away from you." He said in a low husky voice. "I just need him to know that I'm his father. I want to make it up to him, even if it takes for me to begged for years. Just let me do that as my responsibility as his father. Please?" Kageyama never the type to begged, but this was different. It was his son and his responsibility as the father.
