Décimo Segundo Capítulo

Twelfth Chapter

"He's fucking what?! What do you mean you lost him?!"

Shoyou had another meeting with Kuroo, this time it's with the coaches and some other player's. She was already informed by Ezra. The only problem for her was Atticus. Atticus wanted to come with her at the headquarters, but Hinata knew that her son would only bother her with work.

"Please, mowwy." Atticus begged, using his puppy eyes. He knew about his power, with those eyes of his. It was a doe eyes like a doll, Atticus knew it was hard for his mother to resist it.

'What a sly child.' Hinata thought smirking mentally. She looked down at her child, who was smiling up to her. Hinata can see the smugness in her son's smile. She rolled her eyes, letting out a chuckle afterwards.

"Guess... I couldn't resist you after all." Hinata mumbled to herself, chuckling. "Fine, you can come with mommy. In one condition." A pregnant pause was suddenly heard from the two, before Hinata spoke again. "You have to behave, ok?" Hinata added.

Atticus nodded eagerly, which made the ginger smile and pat her son's head.

Both the mother and son duo we're walking, while Ezra was following the two keeping a serious act. Atticus was mesmerized to see the beautiful interior of the insides of the association.

Kuroo spotted them and both the duo walked up to him. Atticus waved at Kuroo, who smiled back at the raven-haired child. Ezra bow down his head to Kuroo as a greeting and Kuroo also did the same.

"Ezra, take Atticus with you." Hinata said. Ezra nodded in response and held out his hand for Atticus, who took it willingly.

Atticus and Ezra was walking down. Some workers we're fawning at the two. Ezra was handsome. Of course it would caught others attention, but it was a lot more attractive when his walking with a cute child holding his hands.

"Do you want to drink something, Atticus?" Ezra asked the young raven-haired child. Atticus looked up to Ezra, when he heard what Ezra asked.

"Yes pwease, Uncle Ezra." Atticus agreed and Ezra smiled at him. They both went to the cafeteria to see what to drink. When Ezra already have what they were going to drink they went to the cashier.

Ezra let go of Atticus' hand to get money. While Ezra was paying, the young raven-haired child slip away from him. Walking to a path were he doesn't know.

Atticus saw an open door that was led to the court. The players were playing volleyball. Atticus went inside without being notice by the players that were playing.

He let his eyes wandered off in the place. He then saw the players, he was in awe when he saw someone spiked the ball in a forceful way to the ground.

"Look out kid!" Atticus was in awe that he didn't even notice that the ball was coming in his way. The ball came contact to his face and he was slammed back to the ground. He sat there with a red mark of the ball in his face.

Atticus' eyes were sweaty and his face was numb from the ball. All eyes on him and he felt humiliated at what happened to him. He let out a loud cry that echoed inside the gym.

All the player's looked at one another and back to the crying child in the ground. They don't know what to do.

Nicholas Romero, who has experience with his son walked up to the crying child. He kneeled down to the level of the child on the ground.

Nicholas carried the crying child to his arms. Atticus felt the weight of strong arms that was carrying him, so he wipe his tears away so it won't be blurry for his sight. He looked up to the unfamiliar man that carried him.

Nicholas noticed this and chuckled bopping the red nose of Atticus, who sniffed and let out a small giggle.

On the other hand, Hinata was talking with one of the coaches when a sudden call from Ezra interrupted her. She excused herself first and went up to another place we're no one is.

"Ezra." The ginger said in a calm voice.

Hinata started to feel worry, when Ezra didn't answer.

"S-sho, I lost Atticus." Ezra stuttered and Hinata panicked when she heard that.

"He's fucking what?! What do you mean you lost him?!" Hinata asked in rage. The association was big, how can they found her son that fast?

"I was paying, then after that he wasn't by my side anymore." Ezra explained.

Hinata massage her nose and let out a sigh. Atticus sure did got that attribute from her.

"I'll be there. Start looking for him." Hinata said and ended the call. Leaving the meeting behind to find for her son.

Kuroo saw the worried look on the ginger's face. Kuroo followed her to where she was going too. Hinata didn't notice the concerned Kuroo behind her. Hinata looked first into the court, since it was near located to the meeting room she was in earlier.

Hinata was trying to control her panic as hard as she can, but she can't help it. I mean, how can she? her own son was lost. Of course, who wouldn't panic at this situation? 

When she arrived in front of the door leading to the court, she fixed her posture. She doesn't want to be embarrassed by her own doings. Opening the door, she got all the attentions of the people inside the court, including her own son, who was talking with Bokuto.

She was relief that she finally found her son and safe in someone who she was familiar with and not some strangers.

Atticus who was chuckling at what Bokuto said finally noticed his own mother. Atticus got down from his seat with the help of Nicholas Romero.

"Mowwy!" Atticus called out for the ginger and ran up to her. Hinata opened her arms widen open hugging her own son.

They all smiled at the sight, well except for a certain player who was still confuse and weirded out.

Kageyama looked at the sight in front of him. He felt weird looking at her ex hugging a child who exactly looks like him. He suddenly had the urge like he wanted to join in the mother-son duo.

It feel weird for him.

He needed to know if the child belongs to him, he has this gut feeling that he knows that the child belong to him... and Hinata. Their own child.

He wants to know the truth and her back in his arms once again.
