Chapter 10: Excepting

Juvia's POV

Me and Lucy explain to them about the marks and the mating season situation. Team Natsu understood and accept it. Wendy on the other hand.. Was blushed hard. "Even though Wendy is a dragon slayer, she is still too young. As for you Natsu and Gray, I think it's about time you start looking for your mate!" Lucy said with sparkles in her eyes. Wendy sighed in relief! Natsu smile while Gray shrugged. "I already know who my mate is." Gray responded. The whole team just stared at him. I was curious! Since he is my best friend and all, I should help him! "Who's the lucky person Gray?" I grind at him. Gray blushed and started, "It's...Uh...I-It's Mer-" "HEY GUYS!!! GRAYYYYY!!" We all heard behind Team Natsu so we looks to see who it was. It was no other than Merely! "Hey Merely! How you been?" I called out. "Been good! How about you?" "Good as well!" After Merely got close to Gray, she gave him a kiss on the cheek! Me and the team just stared at them in shock. "Would you guys stop staring? She my mate after all." Gray responded annoyed...

Lucy's POV

           I was speechless! I really didn't think that Gray's mate was Merely! "Ok so Gray?" I asked. "Huh? What is it Lucy?" "How long have you guys been dating?" Gray just blushed while Merely giggled and responded, "About a year now! We kept it hidden for a bit though!" Merely just snuggled closer to Gray while he put his arm around her waist. Maybe Juvia wouldn't mind if I did that to her... But what if- Then I felt something grab my hand, I look up and see Juvia looking into my eyes. Juvia nodded like she knew what I was thinking. I smile, grabbed her waist and pull her closer to me. I buried my head into her neck. "Hey! What about me? Who's my mate?!" Natsu whined, "Natsu, maybe we should go..." Erza said while smirking at me and Juvia. We both blushed... "What?! But I don't want to-" Natsu didn't finished cause of Erza glare. "Y-Yes Ma'am!"

~About an hour later~

Narrator's POV

          After they all talked, Team Natsu and Merely decided to split up and enjoy the rest of the day by ourselves but only 2 people stayed together. Lucy and Juvia.... They both couldn't stay away from each other for the rest of the day Lucy thought that she and Juvia should have a sleepover! Juvia agreed and gave her a big kiss on the cheek....

Natsu was confused about everything.... Like the dence boy he is, he doesn't realize that he mate was infront of him, calling his name. Natsu just smile and apologized to the one and only... Lisanna Strauss...
