"You've been so much help max!" Daniel says walking closer to him and ruffle up his hair. "One small problem Im afraid.."
"Problem? What problem I did everything you asked!?" Max yells frantically hes acting of course, Daniel needs all the power for this to work. Daniel moves closer to max,
"I know what you're trying to do." Daniel whispers, max freezes up he didn't show it but non the less Daniel knew. He laughs "Oh that's priceless! Kids are so easy to figure out you know max?" Daniel says walking still facing max's annoying expression, "you'll try the same thing over and over again but you forget max, Im. Not. David!" Daniel says in this almost sickening cheery voice while pushing a button, a net flies down a tree along with two familiar screams.
It was nikki and neil.
"Max..!?" The kids both scream, Max's heart beat goes cold, this wasn't apart of the plan.
"Daniel what the hell! I've been doing what you asked this entire time!! What more do you want!?" Max yells
"Max..? Daniel was right..?" Neil says to max in this anxious tone,
"Wha-?? No!! Nei-" max studders this isn't how its supposed to go! Max thinks as his mind races to catch up.
"Oh silly max.." Daniel says sinisterly "just give up! You're right! You did do everything I asked and you did it right! But one thing you didn't do correctly.. Is trusting me in the first place!!" Daniel laughs
"But I didn't-!"
But you did." Daniel interrupts "you trusted that I wouldn't take you're friends, you trusted that I'll just let you win like all~ the other times right?" Daniel says his face growing more psychotic "but you thought once you figure out some amazing plan to take me down once and for all! You would be in charge! You would have all the power once again! Right??" Daniel stands what felt like above max, max was getting impatient.
"SHUT UP!" Max yells "you just proved yourself wrong idiot!"
"Oh did I now..?" Daniel says
sarcastically "then tell me what you're really planning max" Daniel says with a grin on his face, he wasn't wrong so whatever lie max had to spit out, it had to be good and fast. He looks up to neil and nikki,
"I knew you were going to take neil and nikki." Max blurts out "you underestimate me so much Daniel." Max says as confident as he could "I said yes to helping you because I honestly couldn't care less what happens to these two idiots." Max says he doesn't mean it but he has a new plan, its up to someone else though,
"What.." Neil says shocked
Max had to keep going, if he knows neil like he thinks he does, neil will call bullshit on everything max is saying.
"Yeah! I told Daniel that Im doing this so you guys wouldn't get hurt but If Im being honest? I joined Daniel because I didn't want to get hurt!"
"No thats not right.. Right?" David mumbles perfect he knows too max thinks to himself "yep! so you got me all wrong Daniel! ill be Happy to help!!"
Max looks over at neil and David, both eyes are on him, Davids face changed drastically and he trys to see if hes correct. He knew the tone of voice max used for the last thing he said was going to get David, it was how he got into everyones camp and David was there everytime.
"NOW!" max yells and throws the dagger right at Daniel "ARGH" Daniel screams out max hit his shoulder. David runs over to nikki and neil and pulls out his pocket knife and starts cutting the rope, max grabs gwen and they both try holding down Daniel, max taked the dagger out of Daniels shoulder and puts it up against his neck.
Daniel starts laughing hysterically "OH THIS IS GOOD HAHA! But im done messing around." Daniel calls out something in Latin and the area starts filling with smoke.
"What's happening!!" Nikki says coughing, it was filling up fast.
"SLEEPING GAS COVER YOU'RE MOUTHS!!" gwen yells everyone covers their mouth, the gas stops, the area filled with coughing soon dies down and Daniel was no where to be found.
"Shit where did he go!?" Max yells as he realized Daniel and his dagger were both gone.
"Is everyone alright!?" Gwen says scanning the area max was looking around for Daniel, nikki and neil were up in a tree still, gwen was okay but David..
"HOLY SHIT!" Max shouts running towards David not too close this time but David has a dagger right in his gut.
"Im alright max.. Here" David says handing max the pocket knife "free nikki and neil. " what the fuck!?" Max yells "they can wait idiot you're the one injured here!!"
Gwen runs up to David and grabs the pocket knife, she cuts down nikki and neil the kids run up to David
"Holy fucking shit!" Neil yells out
"Im- fine kids.. Gwen! Get them out of here!" David yells
"No! David you're bleeding!?" Gwen shouts
"That doesn't matter right now!!" David yells
"You always say that David! Let me help you for fucking once!" Gwen yells she picks him up as carefully as she could "come on kids we gotta head over to the hospital and fast!!" It didn't matter where Daniel was at the moment all that mattered that david was okay.
"Gwen maybe you shouldn't run with david in in you're arms-" neil suggested but it was too late gwen didn't care what was said, she just wanted him to be okay,
"LOOK!" Max shouts out pointing at the quartermaster bus "NIKKI, NEIL! GO GET THE OTHER KIDS WE ARE GOING ON A TRIP!" max orders nikki and neil run to camp as fast as they could
"Max quartermaster doesn't drive at night!!" Gwen yells
"Yeah I know! Thats why you are!" Max yells
"OH RIGHT!" gwen heads to the bus with david and the other campers as well as the quartermaster head up on the bus and they start driving.
"You know Im not really supposed to be driving a bus..." Gwen says while trying not to kill everyone
"You got this gwen..!" David huffs
"Shut up David! Don't waste your energy" gwen says as they get on the road heading to the hospital.
