Chapter 12. No, I don't wanna fall in love

The day for Andre started with agitation. All his thoughts were about Jackie's morning letter. Her words couldn't get out of his head:

- Good morning, my darling! I thank you, that you opened for me, or rather gave me, what I thought was long lost. In recent years, I have already forgotten how bright, colorful and fabulous the world around us can be. You opened the door to this world for me, and now I want to enter into it with you, plunge into those fabulous feelings that I experienced during the rain.

I felt your care, affection, and tenderness on my skin. It is even hard to imagine what is waiting for me if we become closer. I am almost ready to take a further step to it. Just tell, do you want the same I do?

Andre has read the message several times and now was thinking about what to answer. Jackie, the same as he, didn't want just sex, after which the partners easily break up and quickly forget each other on the next day. At the same time, Jackie made it clear from the very beginning that she wants to save her marriage, in which she was stuck over many years.

Even though it's not happy and brings her more frustration than joy, her son Anthony should not lose even such a family. Though his father doesn't spend enough time with him, how much joy it brings to Anthony, when Alex takes him to watch the auto racing, walk among racing cars and racers in colorful bright overalls and helmets on their heads. According to Jackie, this circumstance alone will keep her in the marriage.

Andre should, by all means, retain that fragile balance, so that neither he nor she lose their heads over each other. No one should figure out anything.

Damn it! What a difficult task! Andre was pacing back and forth around the room. He has to be cold enough not to lose his mind but at the same time passionate enough so not to push Jackie away from him. And he would not hurt her for anything in the world. What to do? Should he rely on intuition, as he always did? Or end the relationship with her? But he cannot do it. She became very special to him and important like a breath of fresh air. He thinks about her all the time. He goes crazy when she doesn't answer his messages for a long time. And this is the most unexpected discovery that he has just made for himself. Damn, damn!

Andre took a bottle of red wine out of the fridge and poured a full glass. He did not like to drink alcohol in the morning, but now it was the only way to concentrate and intuitively find the right solution.

- Jackie, Jackie! - he said to himself. - How did you manage to capture my heart? So much that I begin to lose peace.

For many years after the death of my wife, I did not have such strong feelings. I already thought that my heart and soul were hardened. What will happen? Or maybe just ignore all these precautions and try to feel happy, desired and loved again?

Andre sat at his laptop and quickly wrote the answer coming from his heart:

- Good morning, my wonderful! Can there be any doubts? I don't have any! Our wishes are the same and I will be happy to take this step with you, tightly holding your hand. What could be better? Wouldn't it be the greatest happiness for us? I look forward to meeting you again. Let me know when you have time! Kiss you gently!

The answer from Jackie came quickly.

- Hi, darling! I hope that I can come to you this evening if you do not mind. Anthony is now at his grandmother, and Alex is preparing the car for the race and will return home at best in the morning. Therefore, three or four hours we can spend together.

- That's great! I can hardly wait! Here is my address.

Andre opened the door. At the entrance, shyly smiling, stood Jackie. Trendy jeans, sandals on heels and a light T-shirt harmonized with her disarming smile.
