Chapter 4

'How long have I been here?' I think, remembering I was in the bath yet. 'One hour. That is less than the other times so, good job Y/n!' I thought, trying to make myself proud of myself. I failed miserably. I get out of the bath, put a towel around my body, and go to my bedroom to put on clothes.

"It's almost 9 PM... Since when it was so late?" I say out and loud. "Whatever, my mom is getting home in 30 minutes, what am I supposed to do, except overthinking?"

It was like my life was meaningless. I always had to overthink everything to feel like I live for some reason. I mean... I don't really believe that I will find a love that will last so I may just be the miserable person of the family. No kids, no husband, no pets, no life...

I heard the door open and went to check if it was my mom. Yes, it was. She was very loaded with groceries so I grabbed some to help her and free her a little.

"How was work?"

"Good!" She says smiling. "What did you do during the day?" She asks, curious.

I just started thinking about how I would start. "Well, I tried to call Alice and she answered. We talked, I said that I was in town and she came to pick me up and took me to Freddy Fazbears..."

"Freddy Fazbears? Isn't that the name of that really popular restaurant?"

"Yes, It is. Henry works there!" I add. My mom had told me that she entered Freddy's three times. At least she knows the place, I mean... It's hard not to know it, Alice told me that Freddy's is really popular here in England, I've heard too that Freddy's wasn't the first restaurant and I think it won't be the last too.

"Really?! That's so good sweetie!" She says. I think she never saw Henry there. She only entered there sometimes to get pizzas.

"Yeah! I found out too that Alice married Henry" I say smiling. I am really happy that they married, even if I wasn't invited, I knew that she didn't want me to come all way from France to here just to the wedding, so I'm not mad at all. Why would I be? They are the cutest couple ever and they are so kind!

"And I met..."

"Hm? Who did you meet?"

"Do you remember William?"

"Hmm... Oh! Isn't that the name of your ex? That was one of your best friends before you date him?"

"Yep, well... I met him again, today, at Freddy's."

"Really? Was he hanging with Henry?"

"Well, about that... Henry is the co-owner of Freddy's."

"Really?! And what does that have to do with William?"

"You see... he is the owner-"

"He is the owner?! That's amazing! I remember seeing him studying here with you and he was really focused on studying and while you were focused on the work he would sometimes look at you, smile, and continue studying." She says laughing.

"Wait- Really?-" I ask, surprised. He was always good at hiding his feelings. She nods her head.

"Did something happen between you too today?~" She says, with a mocking face.

"What? Noooo- Why would happen?"

"Right-"

"Are you going to work tomorrow?"

"I don't know. Why?"

"Nothing!" I say, slightly smiling.

"Hmm, okay then. What do you wanna eat?"
