Chapter 5

"Anyway... I think... you are okay-" I say looking to the other side, softly blushing.

"Aw, did you just said that I'm handsome?~" He was smirking, like always.

"May- I mean, I said that you were OKAY not handsome!" I say, still not looking at him.

"Darling..." He makes me look at him with his finger on my chin. "You can just say that I'm handsome, I won't judge, because I am~" He says winking at me.

"I guess..." I mumble. William chuckles and gets closer to my face.

"Willi-" He interrupts me. We were already so close.

"Shhh" He said, placing his thumb on my lips. He was getting closer and closer, we were closing the gap between us in so long, but an EmPlOyEe had to ruin the moment and knock at the door.

I quickly stand up straight, but William stayed normal. He actually looked mad.

"What. The. Fuck. You. WANT?" He said looking to the door.

"I-I-I..." The employee was really scared. I sigh.

"William, you are scaring him." I say looking at him with the face 'Say sorry.'

"Soorryy" He said rolling his eyes.

'That was better than I expected.' I think smiling.

"Anyway, what do you want?" William asks the employee.

"Where are the electric stuff to repair ...." The man asks.

"They are on .... Now, tell everyone to NOT disturb me." William says, raising his voice.

"Y.Yes, sir!" The employee said, afraid, closing the door.

He turns to me. 'Uh-Oh... Am I going to survive whatever awaits me?'

"I think we have something to finish~"

"I- I have to get to... THE BATHROOM! Yeah, the bathroom... I won't take too long." I say looking down. "E-Excuse me..." I say, walking out of the office. I close the door and run to a table in the main room. I sit on a chair and let out a sigh that I had a hold for too long. 'Why do I always mess up?-' I decided to go back quickly or William thinks I left. I go back to William's office and sat on the sofa in his office.

It has been some time since I sat on William's office sofa. It was already late, maybe 7:50 PM. I didn't know why William wanted to go so late but a chooser can't be a beggar. Sometimes I looked at him and other times I felt that he was staring at me. 'Is this a good moment to ask him about... Maybe. I am going to try.'

"...William?" I look at him. He has messy hair and has bags under his eyes.

'He looks so tired...'

"Yes?" He replies, looking at me. His voice sounded cold. It sent chills down my spine.

"Idiot." I mumbled. He then got up and walked towards me. I was sitting on the sofa and his height was already a big difference from mine but now he was a giant.

"Care to repeat that?~" He says grinning. I swear I saw his eye twitching.

"I D I O-" William suddenly puts his arms in both of my sides.

"Darling, I suggest you don't really repeat it~" He says. Now I could really see his eye twitching. I reunited all my courage and talked back.

"You asked me to, so I repeated it" I say, trying not to show my fear. I was honestly annoyed. If he told me to repeat it why is he mad about it? He laughs.

"Don't try to hide your fear" He says chuckling. "and you don't have to be so afraid of me. I am just a little tired." 

"Hm.." I said, looking for some seconds at my feet.

"Why did you call for me?" He asks, curious. It was so out of the blue.

"Well... I wanted to make a question, but it's obvious that is not the right time."

"Why do you say that?" He asks

"Well, because you are tired? And you have things to do probably, more important than what I have to say." I say looking away. He took off his hand from my sides and sat next to me.

"Darling, you better enjoy while I'm here to ask the question." He says, smirking.

"Uhm... Well, when my mother got home yesterday, I told her that I met Alice and Henry and she was very happy. When I told her that I met you too she was even happier and said that you..."

"What did she said about me?" He asks, curious.

"...She said that when you came to my house to study, you would look at me, smile, and continue studying, is that true?..." I asked looking down. I was really embarrassed, but I was curious too. He smirks

"Why do you want to know that?" 

"I- Uhm..." I try to find a reason but the only reason that I had was an embarrassing one. "Curiosity-" I say, trying not to make eye contact. I heard him laughing, and, by instinct, I look at him. 'His laugh is so- WAIT, WHAT. Why am I thinking about him? I don't like him... Right? WHAT AM I THINKING, OF COURSE, I DON'T LIKE HIM!'

"Are you sure about that?" He says, stopping laughing. I snap out of my thoughts and nod my head.

"...So, it's true or not?" I say looking directly at his blue eyes.

"Well..." He gets up and goes towards his chair. He sits down and smirks. "Maybe~" 

"YOU PIECE OF SHIT-"

"Don't be so rude, darling~" He says chuckling. I try not to blush, but of course, I can't stop it. So I just make an angry face. 

"I-I'M LEAVING YOU! Asshole-"

"Oh no! My love don't leave!~"

"STOP TEASING ME!" I said, opening the door. "Bye." I closed fastly the door, before he could say anything. 'William... What are you doing with me?-'

I say as I walk to the main exit. There were less children there, but the ones that were there were almost all of them in the arcade machines and tables. I smiled as I looked at some boys at the arcade machine. I was so distracted that when I was walking towards the door, a little girl bumped at me. I didn't have a lot of strength at that moment so I fell. The little girl's ice cream fell on the floor, sadly.  

"I-I'm sorry Miss!" The little girl said. She looked scared. 'poor girl...' I thought as I got up.

"Don't worry little one, how about we get you another ice cream and take you to your parents?" I said smiling, trying not to scare her.

"Really? Thank you!" She said, giggling.

 I chuckled. "I'm Y/n, and you are?"

"Elizabeth!" She said, jumping and smiling.

"Your name is so pretty!" I said, smiling. She has a lot of energy, for sure.

"Thank you! Your's too!" 

"Thank you. Let's get the ice cream?" I ask giving her my hand.

"YES!" She says excitedly as she grabbed my hand. I laugh at her actions.

I ask what ice cream Elizabeth wanted and she said a vanilla one, so I ask for one, pay and give it to her. 

"Thank you Mrs. Y/n!" She says smiling, before starting to eat her ice cream.

"Your welcome Elizabeth!" I say, smiling back. She was really cute. She had red hair and two ponytails and mesmerizing green eyes. "Uh, can you lead the way to where your parents are?"
