13. Closure

Tsukishimas POV

It's been a year since everything happened. Suga Daichi and Asahi graduated, Hinata and I are still dating and it's great. I visit my mother in prison once a month and have since made peace with her. She's apologetic. I made my boundaries clear and am not quick to rebuild a relationship, but it's nice knowing she's okay and healthier.

I go into Hinata and Is shared room to sit with him. He's throwing a volleyball In the air while laying down.

"You're gonna break something idiot."

"Tsh" Hinata said and laughed.

"Well ok I'm going to go for a walk if you want to join me?" I asked hoping he'd come along.

"Sorry Kei I'm actually supposed to cook for dinner tonight and I'd rather not have you and my fam go hungry. You enjoy your time though." Hinata got up and gave me a quick hug.

"Ok, don't burn the food." I joked

"That was ONE time." He said angry.

"Calm down" I patted his head and kissed him. "See you later."

He waved and went opposite towards the bathroom.

God, he's so stupid and funny. I think to myself.

I walk into town with the intention of getting a couple snacks for a movie night. I go into the nearest Convenient store and grab a few snacks. on my way out I bump into somebody but don't pay any mind to it. I make my way back towards hinatas house when I hear he familiar voice call out my name.

You.

"Tsukishima...Tsukki...."

I don't pay mind.

"TSUKISHIMA" The yell the booming.

"What do you want yamaguchi" I said pissed.

"Please hear me out, it's been a year, I really miss having you around."

I stand there silent looking for an excuse to say no. I couldn't find one. We sit on a bench.

"Say what you have to say. I have to get back to Hinata."

"Oh you and him are still together congrats!" He said half heartedly.

"So what do you want."

"Me and kageyama broke up. It's been a rough couple months, but I've been thinking about us, and how we used to be good friends. I want to be your friend again Tsukki, like i-"

"You expect me to even consider being your friend after a shitty explanation you START with the reason I was pushed to ènd it all. I don't care if you are still together it's not my place I don't care. You are so selfish, you didn't give enough of a shit to realize I was in pain."

I stand up but he grabs my arm.

"Tsukishima. I didn't pay bother to it because you said you didn't want my help. You threw me out."

"I said I wanted space not a distant friend."

"THEN FIX YOUR COMMUNICATION TSUKISHIMA KEI!"

"How the FUCK is this my fault." I say tears forming. "You come for me and then pull a full 180 and go narcissist. Rot."

"Wait...please." He bowed on the ground.

"I just got mad please tsukishima I never wanted you sad but I never wanted to feel sad because of you. I know I'm selfish I'm aware..
Give me a chance to be your friend, please. Like old times...I want to be there..."

"Tsk."

Yamaguchi looked up to me tears flowing.

I rolled my eyes and ruffled my hair.

"Look. It's been a while. I'll consider it. But don't even dare come in between me and Hinata got it?" Yamaguchi smiled and nodded.

"Thank you...tsukki." He walked away a smile on his face. I went home and explained the situation to Hinata.

"What do you think Hinata?" I asked

"Well I personally hate what he did but it was also a year ago and him being dumped by Kageyama which probably some sort of karma. I think it's totally OK if youand Yamaguchi decide to build a friendship."

"If you think so."

"It'll be ok" he said giving me a quick forehead kiss by jumping.

"Shrimp"

"Beanstalk"

I blushed and he laughed lightly. "I didn't know the beanstalk could blush." He winked.

"Shut up"

I kissed him and heald him close. I felt a smile though the kiss. My dreams are coming true. I would be lying if I said I didn't want yams back as my friend...

After so long, everything is ok. My sun shines and helps me shine too. I love Hinata with my heart and I will protect him. After everything he did for me...
