They shoved Emma into a room aboard one of the Royal Navy's ships. Closing the door and locking it, sealing her fate. She was going home, no not home; home was with Killian. That was just a place, a place she had no desire to ever go back to. Emma stood, a hurried step towards the door, she pounded her fists against the wood praying someone would answer.
Her fists were bloody by the time the door finally clicked open. Her father stepped through accompanied by a guard. "Sorry that it took so long I was dealing with our prisoner." Emma looked down and saw her fathers knuckles were bloody.
"What did you do to him?" Emma questioned horrified.
"Nothing that he didn't deserve for kidnapping you."
Emma shook her head "No, no you got it all wrong he didn't kidnap me I went with him freely. I love him, please let him go." She pleaded with her father.
"No, he must have done something to you, or used magic" the king spoke with certainty.
"He didn't do anything to me, he's innocent. Please father let him go. I went with him of my own free will, he won my heart without any trickery."
David's face turned stone cold "then you have left me no choice. By being with him you have committed treason against our kingdom. If you want to be a pirate so bad then you shall be treated as such." The king turned to exit the room taking the lantern hanging on the wall with him. she sank to her knees against the back wall as she was left alone. There were no windows, no more lanterns or candles, nothing but darkness.
It wasn't until days later two guards opened the door announcing they had arrived. "Where is Killian? Emma demanded more than questioned her voice horse from the lack of food and water. Neither guard spoke, Each grabbed one of her elbows forcing her to move. They ushered her off the ship into a carriage course set for the castle, back to her lifetime prison.
She didn't see killian.
The carriage came to a stop once they reached the castle; the guards stepped out first then turned and grabbed tightly to Emma's wrists. She struggled against them "sorry princess king's orders you must be treated like a prisoner." They escorted her to her room, no sign of either of her parents or Killian along the way. She sighed in relief that they took her here instead of the dungeons, but then she remembered that's probably where they took killian; if he is even still alive.
She wasn't left waiting long until both her parents entered her room. Her mother walked over to her giving her a hug "I'm glad your home safe, and that this is all over with. I missed you dearly, my sweet child."
"Mother please tell me where Killian is, is he okay?" Her mothers face hardened "the pirate is being dealt with in the dungeons where he will soon be sentenced to death."
"NO! please let him go, please you can't..."
"We can and we will. It's what must be done. He kidnapped a princess."
"No, he didn't kidnap me. I chose to go with him; please let him go, he's done nothing wrong."
