TW: Suicidal Thoughts
Basil woke up in a cold sweat, "It was just a dream, right?" he whispered to himself looking at the alarm clock that read 3:14am. He sat up and glanced around his room seeing if anything was there. Well something was always there, he was just so used to it that he grew to ignored it. He was looking to see if there was another thing in the room. But once he saw that nothing else was there, he plopped his head back down and looked at the ceiling.

"Sunny wouldn't leave me right? He wouldn't believe someone's words other than mine right? No...No he wouldn't.." he thought over and over trying to ignore the whispers.

"Why would he love you, why would he believe in you"

"Please leave me alone." he whispered once again, tears forming, hearing the voices get louder and louder he sat up once again now hiding his face in his knees, "Sunny wouldn't... please leave me alone". Basil spoke over and over to himself, he slightly began rocking back and forth,

trying to calm down

"why would he love someone like you, your worthless, your stupid, but most importantly you are a horrible human being... Why keep trying if it will help so many other people."
The voice rang out once again, Basil tried to block it out by covering his ears, and repeating the same few words that helped him in the past.

"Everything is going to be okay, everything is going to be okay, Everything is going to be ok-"

"It will be if you just do it... do it... do it"

He tried his best to ignore the chants in his head telling him to just do it. But as the chanting got louder it started to take a tole on him. In a swift motion he grabbed his trimming shears and held it over his head.

"Do it, he wouldn't care, he'd be happy"

"You know what I will," Basil spoke as his voice began to quiver, before he could feel his life slowly drain. An arm grab his wrist while another arm rapped around him. Tears formed once again as his grasp on the shears weakened, and as if he was defeated the sheers fell with a small thud. Soon the grip on his wrist disappeared, and began to sooth him.

"I'm sorry" Basil quietly sobbed in his partners arms

"Never think about doing this again" Sunny whispered, not letting go.
