<Ace's P.O.V>

The war began. I knew pops would come but not with so many people. Wasn't expecting Angst to be caught either.

Should I ask her? Will she be angry? Oh what the hell.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?"
I looks at Angst. Her eyes were shadowed and she just looked down. I knew she regretted not picking a fight with Akainu. She knew that it would break the purpose of the sneak attack.

If she wanted to she could've fought and possibly would've won, but she was attacked not to long ago by Teach. She also would have to keep note that she would be harmed and weaker for the war.

"Why did you let him get you?" I asked changing the subject.

"...It was a supposed to be a sneak attack. Everything was going according to plan when I saw a marine and Akainu having conflict. I told everyone to stay quiet but someone coughed and here I am. Jinbei is in that group so I told him to take over for me if anything went wrong."

It was an honest answer and one I was certainly not expecting.

"Okay but now back to the first question. You don't need to answer if you don't want to."

"It's fine, secrets already out.... After my mother died pops took me on his ship to keep me close to him so that he doesn't loose me either. I grew up on the Moby Dick, when we found Marco pops took him in and we became a little family. That's when pops thought we were old enough to keep the secret that none of us are related and that he took us in. So that's how we lived, adopted. We both are his first mates I guess you can say though I took the role of the dragon since first mate fits Marco better."

"So you didn't talk about it and when was asked you claimed you don't have parents?"

"That's right. Easiest way for me."

We were silent again. Just watching everyone fight made me uneasy, i'm sure it made Angst uneasy as well. We sat there for a bit when someone came up and sat next to Angst. She didn't do anything and just continued watching the fight. I looked to who it was and it was gramps.

What is gramps doing here?

"Why didn't you live your path like I told you to?" Gramps asked just as he started dropping tears.

He's crying? Oh what did I do...?

Pops was still standing on the head of the Moby eyes us.

"Angst can't you brake the cuffs?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Your a dragon hybrid can you break the cuffs?"

"Couldn't if I tried. I'm still a devil fruit user, it makes me weaker but I still have most of my strength, not enough to break the stone itself though."

How else can we break these chains?

<Luffy's P.O.V>

Ang is the old mans daughter? But they look nothing alike and who is this Oblivion D. Himari girl?

"No way... Angst is Whitebeard's daughter?! Ace is the pirate kings son?! Marco is Angst's adopted brother?! What more is there?! I heard Usopp say.

"We were on ship with The daughter of Whitebeard. Can't say that to often can you?" Zoro said testing his hand on his swords.

"Will we just ignore that she's the daughter of Oblivion D. Himari or what?!" Nami said loudly.

"Who is that Himari girl?"

Everyone just looked at me like i'm an idiot. I really don't know who this girl is can they blame me?

"Oblivion D. Himari was one of the strongest bounty hunters to live. She was in fact a close friend to Gold Roger. I heard she had a daughter but they said that the daughter died of an illness but she's still alive that's for sure." Robin explained to me.

"You still don't get it do you Luffy-San?" Brook asked me and I just shrugged.

"I guess? I don't see how she's known if she's dead though."

"It's like how well known Gold Roger is even though he's well beyond dead by now." Franky said trying to explain.

We're in the middle of war why do I need a lesson right now?

"Oh well we're in war I don't need a lesson."

"You asked who she was dumbass!" Nami and Sanji said deadpanning.

"Hey keep it down we're still supposed to be hiding don't draw attention to us." Jinbei said scolding us.

I hated sitting there I wanted to go out and fight. I wanted to save Ace and Ang.

"How much longer till we can come out?" I asked Jinbei in an annoying tone.

"When it gets bad or Whitebeard calls we went over this have we not?" I just looked away.

A few hours went by and we just watched the war.

This is getting annoying. It looks pretty bad already though, is Jinbei waiting till the old man calls?

Just as I was lost in my thoughts Jinbei was getting a call.

"This is Jinbei."

"We need your group out here. Come out where you are but when you do make yourself unnoticeable as possible. Don't draw attention the second you leave your area."

"Got it, We will be out in a bit." Jinbei hung up.

I assumed it was either the old man or the pineapple. Either way we got the okay to go out now. Jinbei of course told us to be quiet again so we can go unnoticed. We walked along the edges and I was eager to just run out and run.

I looked up to the execution stand and saw Ang and Ace watching the battle with guilt plastered on their face.

Damnit Ang you didn't have to get caught for us we all could've fought with you.

"Why did Ang let herself get caught?" Nami asked bluntly.

"She let herself get caught because one our part is a sneak attack it would defeat the purpose, second if we all fought against Akainu most of us would be down or damaged. Third If it was all of us that got caught our plan would've gone down hill so she thought it would be better if only her got caught." Robin explained to Nami and she just nodded. We were right next to the war in a corner, surprisingly nobody noticed us.

"I'll start running and then you guys can follow or go separate ways." Jinbei said and we all nodded. He started running and that's when people started to go separate ways. I ran with Jinbei and my crew.

It's our time.
