Jisung's

Yesterday, we teach Felix to bake some of our most popular bread. We had fun because Felix has skills when it comes to baking. He even made us cookies and not gonna lie, it was really good and tasty.

After that, nothing happens. We take the separate ways again, I went home, Mom went to the mall where he will meet Dad, And, Felix meeting a friend.

Today was boring, I was just lying on the sofa with my feet on the armrest, hands under my head, whistling a song that I don't know where I heard. There are no other noises but my whistles.

What do you expect to hear when it was just 3 o'clock at midnight?

Routine was never new. Sleeping too late yet waking up too early. Wasn't hungry yet wanting to eat something. Feeling cold yet never use a blanket.

It'll repeat, again and again, and again.

I pick up the pillow on the carpet and threw it in the air, catching it and throwing it furthermore.

I got distracted causing the pillow to fall on my face, but instead of putting it away, I let it stay on my face.

"Wah~," I said till I have no oxygen. "What should I do? Should I try to cut my dck? That will hurt so never mind." I sighed.

It was so boring.

*/doorbells

"Who's there?" I shouted but no one answers. "Who the fuck will disturb when it was just 3 in the midnight?"

I put away the pillow and lazily get up from the sofa. If someone was just watching me, they will assume that I'm the laziest zombie.

I opened the door, revealing Felix with a big smile on his face. "Eh? Why are you here at this hour? It's so early."

He tilted his head, confusion was written on his face. "Early? It's almost 9."

Now it's my time to tilt my head in confusion. "9? It was just 3 a.m earlier."

He looked at his watch then he showed it to me. 8:47 a.m

"I wanted to ask you if we can go shopping together but er it looks like you needed sleep." Said Felix.

I shake my head. "No, I'm fine. We can go." I assured.

"Are you sure?" I nod. "Hmm, okay!"

"Come in, I'll change."

-

We're currently sitting on the bench, waiting for the bus, of course. We're just silent and just keep on waiting but then Felix ended the silence between us.

"So, Uhm, the bakery." I glanced at him and went back on following the cars with my eyes.

"What's with the bakery?" I asked.

"When did you and your mother start the bakery?" I chuckled. "Why?"

"Nothing, I don't really know when was the bakery started," I said. "It's old but it was beautiful, right?"

I looked at him and saw him nodding aggressively. "Yes, it is really beautiful! I like the style and the smell will give you a nostalgic feeling!"

I smiled, looking at the ground. It was so old, it was still the same.

"They never renovate it," I said.

"Really? So for the past few years, the design was the same?"

I nod. "They never changed it, they won't renovate but they always make it stronger. Back then when I was 7 or 8, I kept asking Mom 'Why is the bakery looks still the same, Mom? From Lola's father to us?' Then her always answer was 'It was a promise.'" I smiled at the feeling. "The promise was written on the tree beside that bakery but sadly, Mom said that the tree died when Lolo's father but you can still see it there, it was hanging on the door.."

"What?! Really! Wait, can we go shopping later? I wanna see the promise!" I laughed at him and nod.

"Yeah, sure!" Just when I agreed, the bus appeared.

"Let's go, to the bakery!"

-

Felix was just standing in front of the door, mouth agape. "It looks so old but it's still readable?! That's amazing! I didn't notice this yesterday because I thought it was a sign."

"That was I also thought when it was my first time seeing this cafe and, yeah, it was unbelievable because I can still read it even tho it was curvy and stiff."

"They must really love this bakery. You said it was from your Lolo's father passed away, right?" I nod. "That was really really old~ this bakery is so strong! It's history!" Felix jumped and claps.

"The promise was the strongest," I said. "Right?"

"Agree!"

"Let's go now." He nods and smiled at the promise.

Before I followed him, I read the promise, once again. "We will see each other again in this bakery we build together, we won't change it, that's a promise! -mhljsh."
