Chapter 1 - The Run In

3rd Person POV: 

It was a sunny day, you thought it would be a good time to take a stroll down the neighborhood, say "Hello" to some people! Especially since there were some new neighbors that moved in recently! You decided to make some coffee to get energy, after that you changed into a nice t-shirt, grabbed your hat, put it on and went outside. And boy you were right, it was at least 70-80 degrees. There were a few clouds, slowly flying past the sun. A notification came from your phone, so you checked, it was Y/F! 

Y/F: GOOD MORNING Y/N!

You: Hello, Y/F! How're you?

Y/F: I'm doing okay, Wanna come over?

You: Oh sure! I was thinking about walking around the neighborhood anyways.

Y/F: Okay, Ima wait then. 15 minute walk, right? :3

You: Mhm.

Y/F: Yaasssss! Ttyl bestie! X3

You: See you soon!

Ah, your friend sure is something. You put your phone in your pocket and you headed towards Y/F's house, while walking you felt eyes following you, sending a small shiver down your back. You noticed there was a small sewer tunnel, it was so eerie, yet you wanted to explore it. So off you went, into the dark tunnel. It was so dark that you needed to use your phone as a flashlight, and the moment the light turned on, to your surprise, there was someone 12 feet away from you, slouched over. Their jacket was blue, and a bit dirty, holes and everything. 

Then, you heard a shuffle, the person was getting up! They were so tall, almost 9 feet at that. The person turned around, and glared at you with their beady orange eyes. "What the heck do you want, leave me be." The deep, electronic guitar like voice echoed all throughout the tunnel. You shined your light directly at the mysterious face. The person appeared to be a male, he was unlike any person you've ever seen before. His head was shaped like a bomb, he looked super muscular, and intimidating. 

The man jolted back, and covered his eyes from the light, "Hey, hey! Watch where you point that shiny thing, are you trying to make me go blind?!" His shouting kind of scared you, and you pointed the light away from his face, shuttering. In fear, you yelled back, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I just wanted to have a look at you-" Then he interruped,"Have a look!? Am I that interesting to you?!" 

The guy started off slow, walking towards you, then he was running full speed, and of course you turned back and you ran as fast as you could to escape the weird dude. You just exited the tunnel when you fell, you thought you were gonna hit your face on the pavement, when something caught you. You looked up to see the same guy, but much clearer now, he definitely was a bomb. 

He looked scary, but in a cool way! Before you could even process anything else, he put you back on your feet, and looked away from you in shame. "Hey, I apologize for scaring you like that, made it seem like I was gonna kidnap you, heh.." His voice was weirdly calming, wait, what were you thinking?! He's a bomb. 

You were so busy thinking that you didn't even realize that he grabbed your phone off the ground and read your conversation with Y/F.

"Huh, nice to meet you then, Y/N." He looked back at you, and you snapped out of it. "Wha? Oh, um.. Nice to meet you too, Uh.." "Whitty, I'm Whitty." He gave you this slight awkward smile, and you giggled a bit. Man, this was awkward, you thought the silence would never end until... 

"Y/N! Where were you, it's been 20 minutes- OH MY GOSH." It was Y/F, they came to see what was wrong, they were quite startled to see Whitty, just standing there, watching both of you.

"Y/F!" You shouted, and then you ran up to hug them. "Y/N, come onn! I made sugar cookies with strawberry milk for breakfast!" You looked back at Whitty, and waved. He waved back, then walked off, You and Y/F stood there, watching him leave for a few seconds, then, Y/F pulled you by the arm and you two ran to their house.
