Unconscious and alone in her own mind, Hermione was happy about only two things. Knowing she didn't have to, at that moment at least, deal with any physical pain, due to Dolohov or heartbreak, due to Ascella's death.

Amongst her own thoughts and memories, the Gryffindor could pretend that everything was fine and tomorrow she would be back at school, in class beside her female best friend, smashing any and all homework, making fun of Harry and his puppy dogs as he stared at the ravenette.

Ascella had taught her many things. And a lot of it did help her. Both with bullying, standing up for herself and in fact, Hermione had hesitantly asked her how to act like a Pureblood.

And the Lestrange had smirked, before answering with, "Only if you show me how to act like a Muggleborn."

The brunette had grinned and oh, had they had so much fun making fun of all the prissy ways a Pureblood Heiress must behave. Cella had told her that she enjoyed forgetting what it was like to be an Heiress and just being Ascella, a young, teenage girl at school.

Hermione had hugged her so hard.

She thought back to when she finally felt like she'd made a breakthrough with the Ravenclaw. It...was also the same moment when they had met Fluffy.

Classes had finished for the day and, seeing as no one else was around, Ascella and Hermione were just wandering the school, chatting mindlessly.

The brunette suddenly squealed at her and the Ravenclaw reeled around in shock, "What?"

It actually looked like the poor girl was going to cry, "You called me 'Mione..."

"And?"

"You have a nickname for me..."

The Ravenclaw huffed and walked faster, leaving Hermione in the dust.

"Wait, wait!" Ascella stopped and turned slightly with a harsh, defensive look on her face.

"I-"

"Hey! Hermione! I've been looking for you everywhere." A certain Gryffindor Prince's voice echoed through the hall, his footsteps closing in on them.

The brunette looked slightly impatient, but swivelled around to face her other friend, "Harry."

"Hey, I-" the black haired boy quickly shut up and skidded to a halt when he noticed who was standing right beside the bushy haired girl.

The Ravenclaw Princess raised an eyebrow as he started to splutter in front of her, "H,h,hi Aaaa,Ascccc, Ascella. Long time no s,s,see."

"We just had class together not even an hour ago, you moron."

"Oh yeah..."

The ravenette raised an eyebrow, turned and continued walking the way she had been, Hermione still beside her with an amused look on her face, as was Potter, trailing after them like a lost puppy, his eyes solely focused on the Lestrange Heiress.
