Your Sudden Change

You used to be so good to me,

Never a lie leaving your lips.

That we were meant to be,

Hand to hand hip to hip.

Then it all changed suddenly,

Where did the affection go?

No baby, sweetie, or lovely;

Just hate, sadness, and woe.

The insults you're spewing,

The lies that flow so easy.

How can this be our undoing,

Leaving me hurt and uneasy.

I'll try and fight this burning pain,

To keep me from going insane.
