"Avalon I can't breathe!"

"Oh hush," she snapped as she adjusted the red bow tie I had had so much trouble putting on.

"I told you a week ago I don't know how to tie these things, let alone adjust them." My cousin's wedding was supposed to start in five minutes and I was sitting in the choir loft getting ready to record the whole thing. That's when Avalon decided to complain about my lack of skill in the art of wearing bow ties.

"If you wouldn't argue with me this wouldn't be so hard to fix," she said sliding her fingers across my neck slowly but surely setting my trachea and esophagus free, "there, now you look handsome."

I looked at her smirking, "so I didn't before you fixed it," I took her hand in mine and kissed it lightly as she sat down to my right.

"You did, but I just made it even better." She smiled at me making me melt all over again for the millionth time today. I couldn't help but stare at her and all of her beauty.

I looked towards the back of the church and saw my dad ushering the flower girl to the end of the isle. As I turned the video camera on I turned to my right, "maybe my arm won't go dead half way through like it did during rehearsal."

"I think you'll do just fine my love," assured the empty seat beside me.
