Sorry, I haven't written in a while, I was at my great-grandma and great aunt's house for the weekend. Yesterday was something else, though. Typical Fourth Of July at my house. The drama all day (thanks to being a big family) and kids staying up way too late for their obedience record.
I had fun, though. We didn't go to a party or set off our own fireworks but we went to the biggest parade in Nebraska(!!!) and watched the firework shows from our own spot. I think we made a new tradition, too! We trade in our candy (except for 10-ish pieces) from the parade for a pint of our own ice cream (we never get the pints, we always get the big tubs).
In case ya'll are wondering, my favorite ice cream is and forever will be cookie dough. :)
Anyhoo, I am working on a new story, but I don't want to publish it until I'm past chapter one or something. I will tell you what it's about, though!
So this guy; I think his name will be Matthew; wants to join the Patriot troops during the Revolutionary War. Sadly, though, he's stuck in an apprenticeship for a blacksmith who's being forced to make horseshoes for British horses. On top of that, he doesn't fit the requirements (think of him as pre-serum Steve Rogers). Eventually, he joins the Culper Spy Ring and I'll be following his journey with that. :)
So yea that's all for now :)
