chapter two

after isaac and i got off the plane, i got a text from the director, alma har'el, to meet her at the studio.
i turn to isaac. "i gotta catch an uber to the studio. see you at the hotel?"
"yeah just be safe and have fun. good luck with everything, love you!"
"i will, love you too!"
i hopped into my uber and waved to isaac.

my uber driver pulled up to the studio and i saw alma standing outside.
"thank you!" i said to my driver as i shut the door. i ran to alma and gave her a big hug.
"it's so nice to finally meet you sweetie!" she says
"you too! i'm so excited."
"so am i. we aren't doing any filming today, i just want you to meet the cast. they're all very happy you're here and i think you'll really get along with noah" she winked at me as she said that last part.
i laughed and we walked into the studio together.
"SURPRISE!" the cast says all at once as i walked into the large, decorated room.
noah ran up to me and gave me a tight hug. i'm 5'3 and he was a few inches taller than me. he smelled really nice too.
"it's so nice to finally meet you" noah says coming out of the hug, still holding my arms.
his accent was adorable.
"you too. you're such an amazing actor i can't believe-"
"oh stop i bet you're just as good.. maybe even better" he says cutting me off, smiling.
i smiled back while shia stepped in front of noah, putting his hand out.
"it's so nice to meet you, lila. i think you'll be a great addition to the movie."
"thank you so much!"
shia labeouf plays his father in the movie and to be honest, he's quite intimidating. but after meeting and chatting with him a bit i realized he's not all that bad.
i met the rest of the cast and they were all super nice and welcoming.
"noah and lila, over here!" alma motions the two of us towards her. noah and i look at each other and walk over to alma.
"there's a café about a block from here. how 'bout you two go get something to eat? i want you guys to get to know each other before we start filming. how does that sound?"
"sounds great!" noah says, then turns to me. "is that okay with you?"
"totally. i'm just not familiar with the area so you're gonna have to help me out."
"no worries" he laughs. "c'mon let's go"
