"have some self confidence girl!"

Jovi didn't know how to feel about the dress. She had been staring in the mirror for quite some time now picking out her insecurities. She jumped after hearing Ella pounding on the door purposely trying to scare her.

"what's taking so long?! i have a party to host" she yells. Jovi takes one final look in the mirror trying to put a brave face on before swinging the bathroom door open, revealing the dress to Ella. Ella looks her up and down, starting from her black platform doc martons to her short straight bob.

Jovi blushes at the attention she's getting and walks towards the wall length mirror in Ella's room examining herself once more.

"it's a little short don't you think? a-and the straps-" Ella cuts her off swinging her around by her shoulders.

"shut up, you look fine. Have some self confidence girl!" Ella encourages, slapping Jovi's shoulder a little too hard. Jovi winces in pain before glaring at Ella which she responds with an awkward smile. She reaches into her draws and pulls out a small corset that only wraps up to her waist, and hands it to Jovi. She doesn't complain thinking it looks cute and puts it on. She then thanks Ella and they both head down stairs.

"okay seriously what's wrong you've been down since..." Taeleigh trails off thinking about what she was going to say. "Hold on, don't tell me it's about Jovi?" Taeleigh questions

Alexis glances up at her friend before immediately looking away feeling anxious under her eye contact. Taeleigh takes Alexis's silence as her answer. She sighs at her friends stupidity before saying, "It's pretty obvious that you both like each other, almost everyone has figured it out". Finally looking up at Taeleigh, Alexis says

"yeah but you know Jovi, she's a total flirt, i can't believe you convinced me to dress up. i look stupid." Alexis mumbles the last part.

Sounds of people coming down the stairs and people cheering catches both of the girls attention as they turn their heads to see what the commotion is about. Taeleigh is the first to see the cause of everyone's cheering and quickly drags Alexis over for her to get a better look. ' Alexis is going to die when she sees this' Taeleigh thinks to herself.

Once Taeleigh finds a good spot for Alexis to get a good look, she releases her hold on her arms. Alexis being the oblivious little shit she is then asks "what?" which Taeleigh sighs. She brings up her index finger to Alexis's jaw and pushes her friends face in the direction of the 'riot'.

Alexis's eyes widen and her pale cheeks turn into a deep shade of red at the sight she saw. Ella and Jovi where in stunning dresses that wrapped their figures nicely, making the boys whistle (some girls too ;).

Once Alexis finally manages to take her eyes off Jovi she began looking at Ella only to find her already glaring back at her.
