"excuse me, can i sit here?" -familiar stranger

It has been officially been 6 years since Shotaro's family left Seoul and went back to Japan. Shotaro graduated senior year and now he's about to go to college. He decided to go back to Seoul to pursue his dreams as a dancer.

"Goodbye mom i'm going to miss you!"

Shotaro said before leaving their house on his way to the airport making his flight back to Seoul.

Shotaro enrolled and got accepted at Sejong University right after he flew back to Korea.

"IS THIS ACTUALLY TRUE?! I GOT ACCEPTED!!!"

He said jumping excitedly.

*After two months*

Shotaro woke up very early because he was excited that he'll meet new Korean friends after such a long time. He was glad that he could still speak Korean though he doesn't use it as much as Japanese.

He decided to go to a coffee shop for breakfast before going to school so that he'll become energized.

"Good morning!" He happily said to the cashier.

"Good morning sir what would you like to order?"

Said the cashier.

"Can i please have 1 iced Americano?"

"Yes sir that would be ₩3000 in total thank you would you like to get the receipt?"

"No thank you"

"Okay sir please proceed to the waiting area and wait for your order number to be called thank you"

"Okay sure!"

Shotaro waited for a good 5 minutes for his order to be prepared.

"Order 2586? One iced Americano"

"That would be mine thank you!"

Shotaro said with a smile on his face.

"Thank you too sir have a great day!"

Shotaro left the cashier and searched for a table with his coffee.

He found a table with two seats so he comfortably sat and enjoyed his coffee before his first day in the university.

A few moments later someone familiar approached him and said "excuse me, can i sit here?"

The other seat was empty so he didn't hesitate to say yes.

"Yes, go ahead"

Shotaro smiled at this stranger.

After a few minutes Shotaro left the café and went straight to the university.

Like he dreamt of, Shotaro finally entered Sejong university.

"Hello, are you new here? I'm Song Yuqi by the way"

Shotaro was surprised by this young girl who approached him and greeted him on his first day.

"Yes i am new here, i'm a transferee from Japan"

He said while being shy.

"Oh great i'm from China, wanna be friends?"

Yuqi said in a bright and happy tone.

"Sure i would love to!"

Their first class will be starting in a few minutes so they both headed to the classroom together.

"Good morning class i'm your professor Jiyeon Park."

"Good morning professor"

Said everyone.

"As far as i know we have 3 transferees, may you please stand up in front and introduce yourselves one by one"

"Shotaro Osaki you may go first"

Shotaro stood up immediately as his professor told him to.

He was very nervous though he made his introduction to the whole class interesting and unique.

"Hello everyone I'm Shotaro Osaki 20 years old from Japan,I like dancing a lot and i lived here in Seoul when i was 7 and went back to Japan when i was 15 but eventually i decided to come back here in Seoul to pursue my music career thank you"

"Thank you very much for preparing that introduction Shotaro, you may now take your seat"

Said the professor.

Shotaro went back to his seat quietly and listened carefully to other student's introductions.

"Okay next up on the list is Jung Sungchan"

Shotaro was in shock and couldn't believe in what he heard.

"SUNGCHAN?!?!"

He said in his head trying to calm himself down.

"Hello everyone i'm Jung Sungchan 19 years old transferee i hope to have good memories with all of you thank you"

The familiar guy whom Shotaro met at the café happens to be someone he knows, someone whom he will never forget.

-After class-

Shotaro was still panicking because he knew that him and his childhood bestfriend Sungchan were in the same university.

He then rushed out of the university trying to avoid any eye contact with Sungchan.

He was running so fast that he bumped into someone.

"Are you okay?"

Said the guy he bumped into.

"Yes I'm fine, I'm sorry I was just in a hurry"

"You're new here right? I'm Haechan"

"Oh um...h-hi there I'm Shotaro"

He said while getting a little nervous.

"Haha cute"

"WHAT?"

Shotaro said in shock.

"Nothing haha nice meeting you, you must be in a hurry you should go now see you next time!"

"Nice to meet you too bye!"

He said while running.

-At Shotaro's dorm-

He layed on his bed rethinking his life decisions.

"Did i just meet Sungchan again?"

He felt so bad because he knew that Sungchan must've been mad at him up till now.

"I mean he doesn't seem to remember me..."

"It doesn't matter anymore, I'm here to study"

He said thinking that he's out of his mind.

He continuesly thought about Sungchan until he eventually fell asleep.
