A petite figure that's height is 5'2 ft is walking towards a slim figure that's height is 5'9. The petite figure has medium-length, platinum blonde hair with pink highlights and glowing violet eyes. That is Akane Yui.

The slim figure has short, red hair and striking mercury eyes. That is Karma Akabane.

Karma's mercury eyes glistened "Akane-chan!~" He called to the girl. The said person fixated her eyes on Karma before a smile appeared on her face "Karma!" She called excitedly and sped up to meet him. When she was close enough she jumped to him while the male opened his arms.

He caught her and spun her around. The violet-eyes girl giggled "Karma~ I missed youuu!" She grinned. Karma smiled back and put her down "I missed you too Akane-chan!" He replied and hugged her.

She hugged back and she felt a kiss on her head. She smiled to herself at the habit of her best friend. She snuggled in his chest to hide the blush that erupted on her face. Karma chuckled and tightened his hold but careful to not hurt her.

They pulled back hesitantly then looked at each other. Akane is wearing the school uniform but instead of the school jacket, it's a purple letterman jacket with the letter "A" on the left part of her chest.

Karma is wearing the school's shirt and pants but he wore a black jacket instead of the school jacket. Karma grinned at the purple eyed girl and took her hand. "C'mon Akane-chan~ The person who sent us here said to meet them at the entrance"

They were at the Ministry of Defense. It wasn't Akane's uncle who called them to his workplace, it was someone else so they had to find this mystery person. Karma pulled her along and Akane followed. 

She stuck by him, looking around to find the person while Karma intertwined their fingers and pocketed their hands in his pocket making Akane closer to him. Of course, Karma knew this, that's exactly why he did that.

Akane flushed slightly but boldly leaned the side of her body towards his arm then moved her other hand to grasp his arm. Her face looked completely calm but on the inside her heart is beating erratically. 

Karma calmly looked away, as if pretending to look around, but really he was trying to cool his red face that almost matches his hair. Ah, young love.

They reached the entrance of the building and saw a tall buff man in a suit with dark sunglasses. Definitely not shady at all. "Karma Akabane, Akane Yui" He called out to the two lovebirds.

Yes, definitely not creepy you know their names.

The said duo looked at him and almost immediately Karma slightly stood protectively over Akane. "Heh?~ so you're the one who called us here?" Karma asked in his usual playful tone. The buff guy didn't answer and instead responded with "Follow me please"

Akane huffed but complied along with Karma. While they were walking to wherever they were supposed to go they passed by Akane's uncle, Hiroshi Matsuda. The platinum haired girl perked up slightly "Ojisan!" 

Her uncle looked up from his phone and saw his precious niece. "Akane! Hello sweetheart" He greeted with a smile and went over and hugged her before he gave a gentle shoulder pat to Karma. "Hello Karma-kun" The two pulled away .

Karma politely "Ohayo, Matsuda-san" He greeted with a small grin. Mr. Matsuda chuckled "What are you two doing here?" He asked the two, seemingly unfazed by the two's blunt display of affection that they aren't even aware of.

"We were told to go here before going back to the hell hole so..." Akane explained to her uncle then trailed of and gestures to her and Karma "Here we are" She finished while Karma put up his free hand and did a one hand jazz hands.
