I don't have any problems with readers asking me when will I update a book or why haven't I updated a book in a long time so don't worry I don't take those kind of comments personally I think they motivate me more out of my laziness knowing that there is someone out there waiting for an update from me.
Lying down has never felt so good, Xiao Zhan thought to himself as he crashed among the stuffed animals and blankets on the bed, his skin still tingling from the sensation of a hot shower after a long day. He reveled in the feeling of relief for some time, relaxing his muscles and stretching as far as he could across the sheets. The emergency Surgery went later than usual today, and he had only gotten back to the house half an hour ago. He had pushed Himself harder than usual, he didn't know if he would be able to feel his limbs in the morning. Between the warming effect, the heater was providing and the soft blankets underneath him, he probably would’ve passed out right then if it wasn’t for the annoying object that was digging into his skin at his side. Grumbling, Xiao Zhan reached out, feeling blindly around the sheets to find what was disturbing his bliss only to scream out of fright and to his scream be followed by the annoying laugh of his friend.
"What are you doing in my house Wooseok do you know you could be charged with 3rd-degree murder if I died of a heart attack right now" Xiao Zhan sat up facing his creepy friend
"Can't I come and see if my suicidal friend hasn't taken their life yet" Wooseok invited himself in the bed covering the both of them with the quilt
"Haha funny joke did you fight with Seungyoun" Xiao Zhan was very much sarcastic
" I didn't fight with him, it was very much a disagreement and I was too tired to deal with him when I got home so I changed my way and came here lets sleep " Wooseok closed his eyes and was already to slumber land by the look of it he was indeed very tired
It was just like the old times when they went to medical school together, they would sleep on the same bed after hours of exams and practices while one of the other beds would have unfolded laundry from a week ago.
Wooseok and Xiao Zhan were standing together outside in front of their favorite café which they frequently visited. It was a chilly winter afternoon, a little bit too cold to be standing around outside in Xiao Zhan's opinion but Wooseok insisted that the reason for being here was of great importance, though Xiao Zhan would disagree. Xiao Zhan and Wooseok were best friends ever since their childhood, hanging around with each other from early on in elementary school, to now being roommates while attending the same medical school. It was the two of them for a while, a dynamic duo of contrasting yet complementing personalities. Eventually, that changed though when Wooseok met Seungyoun several months ago, which Wooseok would affectionally refer to as “The love of my life.” Now Xiao Zhan had nothing against Wooseok, in fact, he very much liked the guy because it was clear as day how much he cared for his best friend, it’s just that Xiao Zhan happened to be very much single at this point in his life, and seeing the constant displays of love between the couple was getting old to him.
The story of how Wooseok and Seungyoun met is one of those typical love clichés that you would constantly watch unfold on their campus. Wooseok who was about to be late to his lecture found himself hastily going through the halls, not at all watching where he was going. Seungyoun was walking in the opposite direction, eyes were drawn down scanning the papers he held in his hand while his other hand was curled around his half-full cup of warm coffee he depended on to get him through the day. Of course, a collision occurred between the two boys, each one becoming a victim to others' lack of attention. The coffee mentioned before was no longer in Seungyoun's hand but spilled across the floor between the two boys, the rest after that was history. The two found themselves exchanging phone numbers so they would be able to replace what was harmed in the spill, Wooseok offering to treat Seungyoun to coffee, and Seungyoun offering to rewrite the Wooseoks papers that happened to fall victim to his coffee but Wooseok being the prideful person he is was quick to say no. They met each other at a small café the next day, Wooseok's favorite café to be exact, and from that point forward they found themselves unable to get enough of each other and declared themselves to be officially dating the next week.
