"What the fuck is that?" 021 "LUCAS" whispers, his voice trembling. My arms grow weak, eyes locked on the creature behind the glass.

The once human face of the thing is deformed, covered in blood. Its eyes are gone, torn from their sockets. A devilish, blood curdling grin spreads across its face, pressed against the glass.

"It's okay. It's only a zombie." 003 "FINN" drags me to my feet, with an overly casual shrug. His eyes don't leave the thing's face, a mixture of horror and morbid fascination taking hold.

The thing laughs, its high-pitched breaths sending goosebumps spreading up the back of my neck. A hand slams against the glass, leaving a blood stain leaking down the surface.

Why do I recognise the corpse's face?

It used to be a woman. Her former charms have been torn from her face, thus creating a savage monster.

Pieces of blonde hair are plastered to its white scalp, grey lips stained with lines of black blood.

A flash of light.

"Holy God." 008 "MARK" points with a shaking hand at the adjacent glass wall.

Thunder murmurs, as the lights flicker from red to white once again, a beacon in the dark void surrounding us. Why does this feel so familiar?

"THERE'S TOO MANY OF 'EM!"

A voice echoes in my head. Muddled thoughts clog my head, spinning so fast I can scarcely breathe. The man's face flashes in my mind. I don't recognise his face.

Another flash of light.

Hundreds of thousands of the bloodied white corpses chillingly stumble towards the glass.

The Fallen are hungry.

The voice whispers, an edge of danger in their tone.

The glass splinters as the first Fallen claws at the pane, beginning to break through.

"RUN!"
