It had been a month since I realised I was cursed, me and Elijah we're drifting apart, like Andy said. Me, Kol and Klaus were getting closer and it was strange. I didn't want to fall for anyone else, but I couldn't help it, there was this sort desire that was pulling me towards Kol and Klaus.
And, even for a vampire I was throwing up everyday! Everyday I would get up and run to my bathroom to throw my guts out.

I slowly got out of my bed and dawdled to my bathroom, luckily I didn't throw up as soon as I entered my bathroom. I was able to have a wash before I threw up. After I was ready and washed, I quickly walked downstairs to see Ric and Jeremy sitting on the couch playing video games.
"Hey," I said, as I sat down next to them.
"Hey." They mumbled.
I sat there with them for a while until I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, I took it out and saw Kol ringing me.
"Hey," I answered.
"Elena, we need to talk." He replied.
"Okay, sure. The Grill in 20?" I asked.
"Sure." He said before he ended the call.
I looked at my phone and then raised my eyebrows, I quickly shoved my phone back into my pocket and stood up.
"Where are you going?" Asked Ric, as he kept his eyes on the tv screen.
"Didn't you just hear?" I asked.
"Hear what?" He asked.
"Wow," I sighed. "I'm going to meet Kol,"
"Oh okay. Well, be careful." He warned.
"Always am," I replied, as I walked towards the front door.
I picked up my coat and keys and walked out of the door, I walked to my car and quickly got in and started the engine.
When I got to the Grill I sat down at the booth and ordered a drink, about 5 minutes later Kol arrived. He wasn't looking like his usual perky self, he looked worried.
"What's up?" I asked, as he sat down opposite me.
"I need to tell you something," he said quietly.
"Sure?" I replied, well more like questioned.
He took a deep breath and began, "Elena, I love you. And I know about your secret, but that won't stop me from loving you. It's nothing to be ashamed of and I will stand by you through it all,"
"I'm sorry, but you think I'm ashamed of it?" I asked.
"Well, yes. I would be if I were you." He replied.
I sat back and had to bite my tongue before saying something completely irrational.
"It's just that, it's sort of impossible and it'll ruin your life?" He said.
I fake smiled and nodded, Kol could see the anger in my eyes because he quickly tried to recover his tracks.
"I didn't mean it like that, I just -" he began.
"At least I know what you think," I said, as I stood up and walked out of
the Grill.
I got into my car and sighed, I felt so alone. The only people who knew my secret was a guy who thought it was shameful and another guy who was completely psychotic. I was going to loose everything thanks to this secret, but I thought it could also make me feel like myself again. I was then brought out of my thoughts as I saw Kol leaving the Grill and making his way towards my car, I quickly started the engine and drove off. I knew he was going to try and follow me, so I planned on driving until he gave up. I had been driving for about an hour and I realised I was running out of gas.
"Shoot," I said quietly, as I looked down to the gas meter.
My car started to stall, so I quickly pulled over and locked my doors so Kol couldn't get in. I hoped that because I was in the middle of nowhere he didn't know where I was. I got out of my phone and called for Jeremy to come and pick me up.
"Hello?" He asked when he picked up.
"Hey, Jer. I need help," I replied.
"What's up?"
"My car ran out of gas and I'm kind of in the middle of nowhere?"
"I thought you were with Kol?"
"Yeah, well, that failed."
"Are you okay?"
No.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"No you're not, you're just saying that because you want to let everyone think you're okay when you're not."
"Jer, just please come get me?"
"Fine. Where are you?"
"Um, just follow the road that goes past the Grill."
"Okay, I'll be there soon."
I thanked him and ended the call, I leant my head into the headrest on my seat and sighed. God, I was so bad at keeping secrets.

Elijah's POV
Since the day I wasn't able to tell Elena I loved her, we weren't as close as we once were. We were drifting apart and I couldn't do anything to stop it. Yes, I loved her but whenever I wanted to tell her, I couldn't.
One day, I heard Kol in his room breaking everything he got his hands on. He was screaming and shouting and warning everyone who went into his room, that he would kill them. None of us could calm him down and none of us knew why he was having such a 'tantrum'. After about 2 hours he came down and apologised for being such a nuisance.
"What was wrong?" Asked Rebekah.
"So, none of you know then?" He asked.
"Know what?" Asked Niklaus.
"The secret," he replied.
"What secret?" Asked Finn.
"The secret." He replied.
We all looked to each other and shook our heads, we then looked back at Kol and he was smirking.
"Fantastic," he said.
He turned around to walk out of door, but I quickly grabbed his arm forcing him to turn back around to us.
"The secret, does it regard Elena?" I asked.
"Why would you care?" He asked laced with a bit of anger.
I was taken aback by his response, causing my grip on his arm to weaken. He pulled his arm away and walked out of the house. I stood still, staring at the door trying to figure out the secret he was so focused on.
"Don't worry, brother. I'm sure he was merely messing with us," said Finn.
"Of course." I said quietly, as I pulled my eyes away from the door and turned around to face my siblings.
"Excuse me," I said, as I walked upstairs to my room.
I walked up to my window and watched Kol drive away from the house. I rubbed my chin and thought about what was wrong with him. After a while I took out my phone and dialled Elena's number.
"Elijah?" She asked, I could almost hear the smile on her lips.
"Elena, can we talk?" I asked.
"Two brothers in one day, huh." She replied.
"I'm sorry?"
"Kol, he came to talk to me earlier."
"Oh, right."
"But yeah, sure. Jeremy is just taking me home, so you can meet me there in about 10 minutes?"
"Okay, Elena. I'll see you soon."
"Bye, Elijah."
She ended the call and I smiled as I thought of the way Elena said my name, I quickly pulled myself of the trance and straightened up my suit and walked out of my room and downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Asked Niklaus when he saw me heading towards the front door.
"I need to speak with someone," I replied.
He looked at me for a while before finally nodding his head, I then walked out the house and walked over to my car. I got in and drove to Elena's house. I was a few minutes early, so I parked my car outside Elena's house and waited. I was preparing what I was going to say when I saw Jeremy park his car. I was about to get out my car to join them, but I stopped myself as I saw Elena get out of the car. She looked so beautiful that she took my breath away, I smiled and realised it was the first time in a month that I had seen her. I watched them walk inside their house and braced myself for the upcoming conversation, I got out of my car and walked towards her front door. I knocked gently and the door was quickly opened.
"Elijah," said Elena with a smile.
"Elena," I replied.
"Would you like to come in?" She asked.
She opened the door more widely and I nodded before walking in, she was about to lead us into her living room but stopped herself as she saw Alaric and Jeremy.
"Let's go upstairs," she said quietly.
I nodded and followed her as she led me upstairs. We walked into her room and she slowly closed her door.
"So, what's up?" She asked.
"Has Kol said anything to you that was out of the ordinary today?" I asked.
She cleared her throat and shook her head, I heard her heart skip a beat - resulting in me to know she was lying.
"You're lying, Elena." I said.
She sighed and walked over to her bed and sat down, "He just figured something out about me,"
"What has he found out?" I asked, "I'm sorry if it's intruding on your personal secrets,"
"I'm - I'm not ready to talk about it, I'm sorry." She replied, looking down to the floor.
"Of course," I replied.
She looked up to me and smiled, "Thank you."
I nodded and smiled back.
"When you are ready to talk about it, please know that I will always be here." I said softly.
She smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear as she thanked me.
"I must leave, Kol could possibly of destroyed the house by now." I joked.
She chuckled faintly and nodded, I walked towards her door but stopped myself. I turned back around and saw Elena looking down towards the floor.
"Elena, I want you to know that I know you are not happy and that I will always be a shoulder to cry on. I will always be there for you every minute of the day, so please come to me if you need someone." I said softly.
As I reached towards the end of what I was saying I saw a tear fall down from Elena's eye. She wiped it away but then more started to follow, I quickly walked towards her and pulled her up into a hug. I felt her hot tears soak my shirt, but I didn't mind and I stroked her head as she cried. It tore my heart in half as I saw her so broken, I wanted to help her and shield her from all the misfortunes the world was causing her.
"Elena, are you able to tell me what's wrong?" I asked finally.
She leant back and I wiped the tears away from her cheeks, "It's nothing." She whispered.
I sighed and kissed her forehead, I allowed my lips to linger for a while before slowly pulling away. I saw her smile and I rubbed her cheeks.
"Call me if you need to talk." I whispered.
"Thank you, Elijah." She replied quietly.
I kissed her forehead again before walking out of her room and her house. Before I got into my car, I was pushed to the side by a very strong vampire. I quickly turned around and saw a very angry Kol growling at me.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked angrily.
"You did this!" He growled.
He quickly grabbed my throat and threw my away from my car.
"What have I done?" I asked, as I quickly jumped back up.
"You did this to her!" He screamed.
I was growing very bored of his constant growls, so I ran up to him and quickly punched his chest causing him to fall to the floor. I put my hand on his shoulder, forcing him to stay on the floor.
"Now, please tell me what I have done to cause you to have so much anger towards me?" I asked angrily.
"You should know, you bastard." He growled.
I sighed angrily and got ready to rip his heart out of his chest, but I was stopped by someone holding my arm still. I quickly looked behind me and saw a very scared Elena holding my arm.
"Please, don't hurt him?" She begged.
I looked into her eyes and finally took my hand off my younger brother.
"Thank you," she sighed.
I quickly walked over to my car and drove home, leaving Elena and Kol alone.

Elena's POV
I watched Elijah drive off and I quickly helped Kol to his feet, "Are you okay?" I asked.
"Fine, darling." He said calmly.
"What was that all about?" I asked.
"Don't know, he just attacked me." He shrugged his shoulders.
I knew he was lying to me, I know Elijah wouldn't attack his family.
"Seriously?" I raised my eyebrows.
He stared into my eyes and eventually pulled away.
"Fine, I hit him first." He sighed.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because.." he motioned towards me.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Look, Kol. You can't just blame it on him, it's my doing as well!"
"Yes, but I love you so why would I hit you?"
"It's not a bad thing, Kol!"
"Yes it is!"
"How?"
"It's a symbol that we can't ever be together!"
"How?"
"It'll bring you and Elijah back together!"
"No, it won't! The curse, it says that it'll pull us apart actually!"
"But it's you two, you two always find each other!"
"Stop being so negative!"
"I can't help it!"
By this time, we were shouting at each other with our faces inches apart.
"Yes, Kol, you can! All you have to do is be a supportive friend!"
"How can I?"
"Because like you said, you love me!"
He then quickly kissed me, I quickly pulled back but then kissed him back. I pulled his coat collar towards me and the kiss became more harder and passionate, he put his hands on my neck and pulled me closer.

I woke up the next morning with a hand gripping my waist, I quickly looked behind me and saw Kol. I mentally scorned myself, I slowly lifted his arm away from my waist and slowly got out of my bed, I quickly picked up a dressing gown and threw it over me as I ran to the bathroom.
"Oh god, oh god." I repeated as I paced around the bathroom.
I then thought that if I have a shower, he would of left by the time I finished. I quickly jumped into the shower and allowed the water to burn my skin.
I was in the shower for about an hour, just to make sure he would of left. As I looked into the mirror I felt the sick rise up in my stomach, I groaned as I allowed it to spill out of me. I then felt someone rubbing my back and holding back my hair, when I washed my face I stood up straight and saw Kol standing there, smiling.
"Hey," he said quietly.
I felt all the misery and regret float away as I saw him smile at me, "Hey." I replied.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
I nodded and looked back into the mirror, but he quickly spun me around to face him. I giggled and he held my face, as I looked into his eyes I felt the sadness reappear. I felt bad, as I realised Kol's eyes were similar to Elijah's,
"I need to go," I said quickly, as I got out his grip and walked into my room.
"Where are you going?" He asked, as he raised his arms.
"Elijah," I said, as I quickly got dressed.
"Obviously," he whispered, as I tied up my shoe laces.
I stood up and walked over to him, I kissed his cheek and smiled. He smiled back and I quickly walked out of my room and out of the house. I remembered that my car was still stranded, so I decided to run.
When I finally got to to their house, I knocked on their door and Elijah answered a few seconds later.
"Elena?" He asked.
I tried to form words but nothing would come out, I didn't know what to say. I started to panic and then before I even thought it through the words "I'm pregnant," fell out of my mouth.
