M/n's past part 1

No one's POV

Cries bounced off the walls of the hospital room as a newborn baby boy was brought into the world full of quirks. Just hours ago Michelle L/n had been rushed to the hospital by paramedics due to her going into labor in the middle of a shopping district.

Her son 14 year old Brandon was with her at the time being the one to call 119 and also getting assistance from a nearby shop owner, he rode in the ambulance with her and held her hand as he watched her take heavy breaths but had to stay in the waiting room until she gave birth.

Now you may be wondering 'Where is the father?' Austin broke up with Michelle before she told him about being pregnant, but telling him only gave him more of a reason to leave. He never wanted to have kids with her, he didn't even love her he just hooked up with her to blow off some steam, but she didn't know that. He ended up getting married to a coworker, where he actually fell in love. Brandon wasn't even his child, Austin didn't even know about him to be honest, Brandon's father served in the military for 5 years, during that time he had gotten severely injured and was later pronounced dead.

Brandon didn't really know his dad like that but from what he did know he knew his dad was a good person. He was upset he barely got to spend time with his dad but he was even more upset watching and listening to his mom's endless sobbing throughout the nights.

"Ma'am is the father here today?" The nurse asks giving the baby to Michelle, Michelle looked down at the baby sadly before shaking her head. "No. No he isn't. But my 14 year old son is here. He should be in the waiting room. Could you get him for me?" "Of course! What's his name?" "Brandon.." " I assume his last name is also L/n?" "Yes" "Okay I'll go get him for you" just as the nurse was about to walk out the room she turned around and spoke up "Also Mrs. L/n? Congratulations by the way." Michelle nodded her head before watching the nurse walk out the room.

"So mom what are you gonna name him?" Brandon asked as he held his newborn sleeping baby brother.

"Hmm I don't know I was gonna let you pick"

Brandon looked down at his little brother before speaking up "How about M/n?"

"M/n.... yeah I like that name. M/n it is!" Brandon could only chuckle at his mom's behavior. The rest of that night was spend with him and his mom watching movie on the hospital TV, the doctors and nurses let Brandon stay due to his mother being the only family he has. And even if going back home was a option for him, he would rather stay with his mom and his baby brother.

At the age of 3 M/n being a curious child had asked what his dad was like, unlike most parents that feed their kids lies, Michelle was blunt. She told you how he made her fall in love with him then left, how selfish he was and how he would tell her lies that she believed. Even though you never met the man you hated him with every last bone in your body, when your mom started crying you wrapped your arms around her telling her not to cry, then ran to get your gunhead action figure she got you hoping it would make her feel better "This always makes me feel happy when I'm sad, so maybe it would make you feel better!"

Michelle looked at the child for a moment before pulling you into her arms " I Don't need a action figure to make me feel better. As long as I have you and your big brother I will always be happy." You smiled giving her the tightest hug you could master, which wasn't much due to you still being little.

She was a very hard working mother trying to keep a roof over both her sons head. She worked multiple Jobs all in one day, to which she usually came home around three in the morning and would leave back out two hours later, unless it was her off day or she was on vacation. This was the routine she was living with once M/n was born, when it was just her and Brandon she didn't have to do as much work because it was easier supporting two people then three.
