Late Talks And Mornings

3rd person POV

(Listen to the song when it's morning)

When Y/n asked the questions Megumi sat there and thought for a while. Now that he's thought of it, he's never really been in love before. "No, I don't think so..?"

Y/n looked at him shocked. "What? Have you?" He rose a brow. "Well yea! Who hasn't?" She answered swiftly. "Can you tell me about it" "Okay, so back in like 2nd grade I had the HUGEST crush on this 5th grader. He was my friends cousin. And everyday he would walk the both of us home so I fell for him" She looked out of  the window, smiling at how silly that love was.

"I dont think you were in love with him..." Y/n turned her head back to the guy in front of her. "Of course I was, we're you paying attention?" "That was more of infatuation then anything..." Y/n looked puzzled... was it? "Then no, I haven't either..." she shrugged, gently russling under the covers.

"Well Megumi, I'm pretty sure you'll have work in the morning since it's a Monday. Also it's already 4 am and I'm getting tired. You can sleep in my bed I don't give a fuck" She soon nuzzled into her pillow drifting to sleep.

Megumi began to climb under the covers, still a little shocked that not even Y/n has been in love before. He decided it wasn't really something he should worry about and soon feel asleep as well.

Time skip: Morning

As the sun rose, spreading its radiant shine through the room, a silent buzz began to play through the ears of the two adults inhabiting it. Crazy enough, Y/n and Megumi were cuddling, Megumi being in between the warm space between Y/n's neck and shoulder. And Y/n cradling the head of Megumi, fingers already intangled in the soft, dark locks of the boy.

Megumi's eyes fluttered awake as the sound began to grow annoying. He took a deep breathe taking in the sent of freshly washed clothes and a hint of coconut and vanilla. The smell was amazing, he wanted to smell it for as long as he could.

Realizing where he was, he tried to slowly move himself to not wake up the girl that so kindly let him stay the night. Sadly, his attempts failed and instead, he made her move into a new position.

Now, Y/n had straddled him, putting her face in his neck. Her long eyelashes and soft, plump lips caressed the sensitive skin lightly. The sensation made him bite his lip softly. How could she not be consciously doing this??

"Fuck..." He whispered as she began to groan, "get that phone before I break it" she made it clear the sound was unpleasant.

Megumi slowly tried to get his phone from off the bedside table but it was surprisingly far. "I'm gonna have to sit up," "Well I'm not moving" The quick conversation left no other option but to move with Y/n.

Holding her waist so she wouldn't plummet backwards, he began to rub her back while finally turning his alarm off. "You want breakfast? I'll make some, I got work too..." She softly rubbed his hair with one hand and her eyes with the other.

"Mhmm, thanks" He replied opening the messaging app ready to text the group chat with his friends that he'd need a ride to work. "Okay go shower I'll go down to the kitchen." At this point it was around 9:30 am and work started at 12pm. He had time.

He went to the bathroom and realized he need to brush his teeth. And as of on que, Y/n yelled from down stairs that if he checked in the cabinet below the sink, extra tooth brushes would be there. Thanking her, he began to start his routine.

Y/n's POV

I ABSOLUTELY HATE MORNINGS! You feel gross, your eyes have boogers in them, your body hurts cuz you slept wrong. It's just not a fun experience. Though an annoying sound woke me up, I felt quite comfortable this time. I actually enjoyed my morning.

After finding out Megumi was the reason I offered breakfast and he agreed. Now I'm in my kitchen COOKING... FOR A MAN. I couldn't believe it. JLO I failed you my queen...I thought.

"Welp guess I can sing this now" I began, "YES I DO THE COOKING, YES I DO THE CLEANING"

QUICK MOVE TO MEGUMI'S POV

I was taking a shower before I heard Y/n yelling. Is that 'Hey Mama ft Niki' she's singing? I began to chuckle as she sang with such enthusiasm.

BACK TO Y/N'S

"Yes I keep the nana real sweet for ya eat- SHIT THE BACON" I had refocus, bacon is expensive, can't let it burn. I began to drain the oil and start on the eggs. Everyone likes scrambled right?

I hurried and finished them plating it on the freshly baked croissants from the oven, keeping them open so he can add the bacon himself. (Y'all put syrup on yall eggs? I like it😩⁉️) I took out the bottle of maple syrup and put it on the side. I took two glasses and poured out some orange juice.

"Okay finally, it's done" I exclaimed. I out did myself if I'm being honest... I'd usually eat cereal. As the food was cooling down and I was washing the dishes, I heard foot steps going down the stairs. "Oh dont worry about that, go brush your teeth so you can eat!" Megumi came down shooing me away. I mean I didn't mind, that means I didn't I have to do dishes!

3rd person POV

After Y/n finally finished her face, and teeth routines and found that Megumi finished the dishes they went to town on their homemade breakfast croissants.
More so Megumi then Y/n...

"Dude calm down, the food ain't gonna run away-" She said laughing covering her mouth. "It's not my fault it was so good" He went for the glass of OJ to finish off his breakfast, but suddenly a honking was heard outside.

"I think your friends are here?" She said getting up. "Here, give these to them, as a thank you for picking you up" She handed him a bag of sandwiches. "Y/n your the best! Uhh I'll text you okay?!" He ran out of the door with his stuff in hand. After giving her a hug. Y/n walked out waving to the group goodbye. With that the two went there separate ways...
