Chapter 3

I grasp the ground trying not to let the wind push me back any further. I force myself to stand up and suddenly the force I was holding up against vanishes and so does the wind. I look up and see the same boy that I had seen before.

"Yumemi!" He yells my name.

"how do you know my name?" I ask confused.

"There is no time to explain I need your power now!" he yells at me. I stand there shocked but before I can say anything I feel two hands on my shoulders which shake me out of my trance and in the blink of an eye he is gone. I look behind me and I see Ichiko. I glance back to where the boy was standing.

"Maybe he is real." I say out loud. I cover my mouth before I can say anything else but it is too late, what I have said has already sunk in.

"What was that wind and who is real?!" Ichiko asks me. "Is it the same person you were talking about when I came to help you with your math?"

I'm not sure if I should lie to them or not. I can't tell them about him. I could get them worried for no reason because he still might be just my imagination.

"Oh it's nothing." I say putting a smile on my face. "I'm just talking to myself." Ichiko raises am eyebrow at me but before she can say anything else she looks around frantically. She looks back at me.

"Where is Suzume?!" She says loudly.

"I-I don't know." I stammer. We both stand up and start searching the street.

"Yumemi!" Ichiko yells. "Over here!" I run over to where Ichiko is standing. Suzume is being carried by a boy that looks like he's a few years older than her. We both run down to her, when we get a good look at her she looks unconscious.

"Suzume!" we both yell.

"She's alright she just fainted." The boy says while laying her on the ground.

"I wonder what was making that wind." Ichiko thinks out loud. I look down at the ground.

"I wouldn't have a clue." I say guiltily.

Munto's POV

"AHHH!" I yelled in frustration. I slump down on the ground against a rock and look up. I can see the heavens from down here, this is what Yumemi must see. This is the only place to contact her a fake earth below the heavens which is just like a barren desert.

"What can I do, we need her up there and time is running out." I say to myself in frustration. "I need to keep trying."

I fly back up to the heavens, " I'll have another try tomorrow."
