While me and griff sat on the stairs and watched

Her screams could be heard from around the neighborhood

My mom screamed
My dad ran towards me and threw my phone causing it to break
Me and griff yelled repeatedly
"Get off of her"
"Stop hurting her"
"You son of a bitch"
"Get off of her"
We yelled as we seen him beating her face in
Bruises were everywhere

I came back to reality
"Get the fuck away from me"
I screamed in his face
"GRIFFIN CALL THE POLICE NOW"
"HES HERE"
I yelled
griff grabbed his phone quickly dialing 911
"Get away from me you sick bastard"
I yelled and spit in his face
"Now is that any way to talk to your father"
He said in a stern tone
"you're not my father and you never will be you sick fuck stay away from us"
I shut the door and he put his foot in between it causing it not to shut
"stop being a brat and let me in"
He said harshly
"LAPD FREEZE"
"DROP YOUR WEAPON AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD"
The policemen said
I didn't even realize he had a gun with him
They put him in hand cuffs and took him in the police car
I broke down on the floor crying
"Hey hey hey it's gonna be okay"
Vinnie said to me
"Why'd he have to come back"
I said sobbing into vinnie
"Come on"
He said picking me up
"I don't want to leave I don't feel safe"
I said sobbing louder
"Hey hey Paeka look at me"
He said making me lift my head up
"You're safe with me ok hes gone"
He said comforting me
I sobbed even more
"Thank you vin"
I said sniffling
"Anytime paek"
"Now cmon let's go get ice cream yeah?"
He said looking at me
