i remember him

Percy's pov.
When I was out of there sight I ran
I ran away from Bruce
I remembered him ,he had saved my life and now I need to keep him out of my life
I was young when we met and I was scared and hurt
I was angry I couldn't defend my self from.....
I just need to forget

I ran home and burst through my apartment door and dropped on the coach putting my head in my hands
"Percy?" mom said she came in through the kitchen in her apron
"Percy is something wrong?" she asked sitting next to my tilting my chin up with her hands
I looked away from her not wanting her to see my eyes
"Percy Jackson "

She warned me ,she new something was wrong she always knows when something's wrong
"I'm fine mum I just.... saw a old friend today that's all" I choked out
And she glared at me
"Who did you meet, please don't tell me it was a monster"
I gave her a little smirk
The last time I mentioned an 'old friend' Kelly the 'vampire' as Paul called her tackled me and I broke the door to my room down scaring the hades out of my mom and Paul.

"No not a monster it was an old school friend" I lied
She stopped glaring but stared at me for a moment "does this old school friend have a name?" 'oh in so busted' I thought mentally freaking out
'Thor! I can tell her I saw him its not that bad of a lie' "his name was Thor he's uh a Norse god" she looked surprised almost shocking (bad pun)
"Norse?" she looked confused

"It's a long story ,I'm really tired so I'm going to bed night love you" I exclaimed kissing her on the cheek and running to my room to avoid the question

I went into my bathroom and took of my shirt (stop thinking that way you pervert :)
I turned around and looked over my shoulder and cringed
Running down my back was a large scar I remember getting it so clearly
I hid it with the mist when I had to
The only ones to see it were annabeth
Piper and Reyna they walked in on me when I was changing ,they made me tell them were I got it, when I did they all cryed

I had other scrars most demigods do
But mostly me
I threw my shirt back on and went to bed falling into a horrible nightmare

a 7 year old boy with raven hair and green eyes stumbled down the street
A pool of blood ran down his back leaving a trail of blood ,he didn't know where he was going he didn't care he just needed to get away

gabe had gotten so drunk and angry he took it out on percy before it got worse percy crawled out of the apartment not wanting to face him again he kept walking

Bruce was walking along the dark side walk he missed the city And would come visit every ones in a while when he had his anger controlled
As he walked he notice a small red glimmer on the side walk out of curiosity he followed it only to find a young boy siting on a bench
"Hey kid you ok?" the boy was pale he had tears running down his face and was slouched backwards on the bench
Bruce hesitantly took a seat next to him

percy glanced at the man 'moms said not to talk to strangers... but she also said gabe could help us see how that turned out' he thought sadly
"I'm Bruce banner I'm a doctor you don't look to we'll do you need help?"
Bruce said "m' percy" he whispered
"Can you help me? my back hurts?"
Percy lowered his head looking at his feet

Bruce looked down at the frightened child "yes can you lean forward for me?" he asked kindly percy leaned forward and winced when Bruce pulled up his shirt

"What happened to you?" Bruce said his eyes flashed green 'who would do this to a child?' he thought

Percy stayed silent not wanting to get in trouble again ,Bruce leaned over and picked up percy gently "I can help you kid I just need to get my tools can you come with me?"
Percy nodded slowly and they went to Bruce's small house

Percy was asleep when they got there
But was holding onto Bruce with a death grip whimpering in pain it broke Bruce heart, when he was bandaged up and asleep on the couch Bruce sat down next to him determined to get answers

When percy woke up he had stitches in his back and Bruce had nodded of to sleep so he tossed on a shirt and wrote a letter and set it on the table and left before he woke up

When he did wake up he saw the letter and it was the last thing he had of percy

It said

'Thank you for saving me doctor banner you are the best person ever
You are my hero' -percy
