Everyone instantly looked at Nate and I completely baffled from what we had said. Sammy had panicked, wide eyes and his mouth was hanging open trying to find the right words. It was no use, he was at a loss and looking at everyone else for help.

"Nate, and Ophelia," Lindsay said forcing a smile. "Wow, it's been awhile hasn't it?"

"Yeah, I mean the last time I saw you, you were trying to fuck my boyfriend," I smiled causing gasps to float around the table. Nate gave me a look and I bit my lip and sat back in my chair. Lindsay and I were friends at one time when Nate ran around with Dillon and Carter. I met her through Nate since she was Dillon's girlfriend. When Nate told the guys he was finished running around with him, they sent Lindsay in to convince Nate to stay, and I busted her in the act.

"I'm sorry about that, honestly I am. But I've changed a lot since the last time you saw me. I stopped running with the guys," she said sitting down in the seat next to Sammy. "And I see you guys are still going strong and I'm happy for you."

"Thanks," Nate said emotionless. He squeezed my thigh under the table, it was his way of telling me to take a deep breath and calm down. I bit on my lip and saw that Sammy was still just as confused as ever. "Oh, hey our food is coming."

When the pizza arrived, I stayed silent and there was serious tension floating through the air. I was so happy for Sammy up until I laid my eyes on her. I finally thought he was going to find someone who would treat him well, but I knew he was barking up the wrong tree with her. She was deceitful, deceiving, and manipulative. If you gave her the right amount of time she could have been easily turning everyone against one another. I didn't want her to see her hurt Sammy.

"So, uh...Nate, have you heard or seen from Dillon or Carter?" Lindsay asked causing me to snap my head in his direction. Nate froze with his mouth open as he was about to take a bite of his food. He looked up at her and sat his pizza on the plate before looking over at me.

"No..." he said wiping the grease off of his hands. "I haven't heard from them since I told them to leave me out of everything." I knew he was trying to be discreet, but I had a bad feeling about her. She was going to turn her magical manipulative super powers on.

"Yeah, me either," she sighed. "So, Ophelia...Sammy has told me a lot about you," she smiled at me and I snarled my nose and forced a smile.

"Yeah, we're pretty close. Fuck with him you fuck with me," I shrugged. I wanted to come off tough, and Sammy looked at me completely surprised, as well as everyone else. "Sammy told me a lot about you, it's a shame though. I was expecting someone-," I went to insult her even further but Nate jumped in and interrupted me.

"Okay!" He said gaining the attention of everyone. "So, bowling...yeah?" Nate ended up paying the bill for all of us, and when we went to go walk out of the restaurant he made me wait until everyone was out of the door before he pulled me off to the side. "I need you to play nice, alright? Maybe she's changed, okay? Please do this for Sammy's sake. And you need to apologize too."

"I don't want to," I pouted. Maybe I was being childish, but I didn't care.

"Ophelia Ann," he said with a warning tone. I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Phil, come on."

"Fine," I shook my head and he smiled and pecked my cheek. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the restaurant to see everyone waiting up against the wall of the building. It was obvious that everyone was uncomfortable, and Nate nudged my arm hinting that I should go ahead and apologize. I frowned and let out a heavy, over-exaggerated sigh. "Guys wait," I said causing everyone to turn around. "Um, Lindsay I'm sorry for what I said. It was not my place to say any of that. I'm sorry to you as well, Sammy. I was really rude. Sorry, guys."
