Hanahaki Grumbo

Building?

Grian's eye's scan over Mumbo's base to figure out what to help with. He fly's up into the air once again to see what to add but it just wasn't clicking with him. He knows there is away to get the things to work all together but he personally couldn't figure out what he could do to help Mumbo.  Grian soon lands in front of Mumbo. "I'm sorry Mumbo but I'm a bit stumped about it.. Maybe Scar, Iskall or Keralis could help you?" The red sweater builder sighed. 

"O-Oh.. Well Iskall is on a date with Stress right now so I don't think I'll be getting help from either of those two.." Mumbo takes a moment to think. "Well you and I haven't hung out for awhile, can we hang out?" Grian couldn't say no when he saw how excited Mumbo looked. "Sure thing. That sounds great actually" Grian smiled but his chest is hurting but more of his lungs seemed to burn a bit.

"Awesome!" Mumbo pulls Grian into a tight hug. Grian hugs back but he coughs a little to much and some stunning black flower petals fall from his mouth. Grian had no way to conceal the petals so he just hoped Mumbo wouldn't notice them. "Mumbo! Let's go see if we can prank Scar!" Grian just had to get Mumbo's mind focused on something else.

"Oh? Uh okay?" Mumbo let's go of Grian but never noticing the petals falling to the ground. "Okay Mumbo I will need your redstone powers to help make the coolest trap that has ever been made!" Grian was excitedly hopping which made Mumbo laugh a bit. "I need more information than how cool my redstone ability's are." He ruffled Grian's hair a bit. "Well I want to make a trap where the floor falls from under him and he just ends up in a hole.. Maybe a bit of death?" Grian mumbled the last part.

Mumbo found himself laughing at this. "Yeah, yeah lets go make this trap before you decide to make something much more chaotic." Mumbo wrapped an arm around Grian. The two of them just walk over to Scars base as it's not far plus Mumbo was still worried that Grian would knock himself out while flying, even though Grian is one of the best flyers in the world. 

The two find the prefect spot to build this trap. Grian was on making a hole while Mumbo worked on the redstone trap part. Grian was smiling brightly as he mined and not because he was getting some ores it's because he's hanging out with Mumbo and making a trap. Grian  just was so giddy that he didn't notice that he was coughing until flower petals covered in blood started to fall out of his mouth. He falls to the ground and starts hacking up petals his eyes are filled with tears and his ears are ringing. Grian starts to panic as he realizes breathing is hard and his eye just won't stay open.  he has no clue what to do and he's freaked out until someone puts their hand on his back and is patting it.

Grian is soon able to breath, the flower petals are all over the stone, there's one big black wither rose looking flower witch is covered in blood. Grian looked at it horrified at the overwhelming colors of black and red. Grian takes notice that he is laying on his side. He turns his head to see not Mumbo but Stress and Iskall at his side, his eyebrows furrow but then his eyes notice Mumbo near a wall of the hole that he made. Grian's ears are still ringing he only realizes this when he saw Stress's mouth moving but he wasn't hearing her clearly enough for him to understand. 

"Grian? Grian? Can you hear me?" Iskall's voice is much clearer for Grian but he couldn't seem to be able to form words, it's all garbled up and just sounding horrible. Stress pulls out a healing potion and quickly pours a bit on Grian's mouth, it takes affect. Stress pours some on her hand and then gently rubs it on Grian's neck and some of his chest. He points to his ears, she gently adds potion to Grian's ears. The rest of the potion is put to Grian's lips he drinks it, it's sweet warm yet also some how cold it's such a strange way to explain as the potion is thick yet also moves quickly like running water. 

"Grian? Look at me" Stress puts a hand to his cheek, his eye's meet hers and he focuses on her. She visibly relaxes. "Grian can ya hear me?" Grian nods. "Ye-.. yeah I can hear you" He finds it hard to speak. "Great now love lets get ye to your base?" Grian just nods. Stress looks at Iskall who goes to pick up Grian. "What happened to him Stress?" Asked Mumbo. "I'll explain later but right now let's get him to bed." She respond's while looking at all the flower petals and blood. She puts her hand on her throat remembering when she had the sickness. "oh okay" mumbo just sounded sad. Iskall had already gone with Grian to get him to the mansion. "He's gonna be okay love" She gives a small smiles as she uses her elytra to get herself out of the pit, Mumbo soon follows.
