Macbeth X Banquo

1. The Witches

As macbeth and banquo had just returned from a glorious battle they see 3 witches on a mound as they approach them theyre withered and wretched faces became clearer "Macbeth macbeth here he comes" one of the witches says "for you to be married to banquo you shall" they both gasped in shock at what the witches just said macbeth had a million thoughts racing through his head at that moment, however he had been recently feeling arroused around  the way he killed soldiers and was so brave seemed oddly attractive to macbeth however he had to keep his undying love to his wife Lady Macbeth who was at home missing her husband. As Macbeth And Banquo rode home theyre was an eerie silence hanging over the conversation but then Banquo spoke "what happened back there they were probably mad women trying to play tricks" Macbeth nodded his head even though he secretly wished this prophecy to be true but how did banquo feel? Macbeth then said "would it be all that bad if the prophecy was to be true" Banquo looked confused as if he had just spoken utter giberrish, macbeth then repeats his statement however banquo looked disgusted and almost scared as if Macbeth had just said it may be a good thing they ride back home i. utter silence.
